Review: The rooms are small and you’re not allowed to keep your bag in the room, you have to put it in the lobby. The shower downstairs doesn’t have hot water so you have to go up, but there is literally one shower for the entire guests in the hostel so you sometimes have to wait. The location is good though.
Positive points: A very good location ca. 10 min from the Hongdae metro station and Hongdae street, right next to a very local-looking shopping street, quiet at night. Good price, clean.
Negative points: They don't allow early check-ins, so if you arrive early in the morning after an overnight flight you won't get a bed till 3 pm. If you have a lot/heavy luggage might be a bit of a problem 'cos the space is very limited, steps all around. The electric outlet for charging next to my bed was broken.
Review: I had a great stay in this hotel. Staff are nice, the location is near to trains and restaurants, coffee shops. Near hongdae street as well
Positive points: Great location close to Hongdae and Yeonnam, metro close as well as train to airport. Price was also very good for the location. The area is very lively with good food, activities and transport options. Also many tours leave from the area like to the DMZ. The facilities were fine though the toilets and showers were shared with quite a few people so it could be a wait.
Negative points: Could get crowded at times but overall nothing too bad.

Positive points: Volunteers were nice and helpful, beds were comfortable enough, location was relatively convenient and the value was quite good. Overall a decent sleep
Negative points: Bathrooms were riddled with mould and moisture, not enough bathrooms for the amount of people staying in the hostel. Volunteers are required to work with lots of bleach, and are told to make shortcuts to save the owners money (spray febreeze over the bed if someone only stays for one night, instead of changing the sheets).
Review: Nice hostel, but there is not enough bathrooms for the number of occupants. nnLocation is convenient, and the hostel is clean.
Positive points: the location and staff were nice, let us modify our dates very close to our schedule
Positive points: I enjoyed the safety of the hostel and the fact that they let me check in early.
Negative points: I had a very uncomfortable bed and the shower facilities were not clean. It’s a bit out of the way from buses and trains, so be prepared to walk.
Review: Great location just 10pm walk from Hongdae station and a lot of cafes and restaurants around. I arrived before management could relay my booking from the app to the staff, but the staff were more than accommodating and I was sorted out quickly. Highly recommended. 👍
Positive points: The instructions given in English. The host, Mr.Jeremy was kind and helpful. It was my first time ever to live at a hostel but it was a fine experience. Totally recommend especially for solo travelers.
Review: The price was so good for such an expensive city like Seoul. Before, I had to pay 2x, 3x as much as this hostel for others. Smiley and supportive owner (or staff?), beds and washroom were basic, but I didn't expect more for that price. A little bit far from metro station, but anyway I could easily walk there. There are many cafes, restaurants, stores nearby.

Positive points: The toilet and shower room are clean. The second floor is quiet and smell good. The receptionists were nice. The price is very affordable. However, there are something I hope the hostel can improve and it will be very very good.
Negative points: There was a very bad smell on the first floor. Since I opened the door, I smelled a very bad smell. It must be coming from the shoe rack. It would be very good if you can fix it. There were some groups talking loudly at night. The first night, I heard the noise all the time. I went to the bathroom around 5am and saw them sitting and eating and talking. The second night, I still heard the same noise, so I told to the hostel via chat. After that, the noise quieted down very quickly. I am very impressed and grateful for this. I think they stay here for sometimes already since they seems to know everything in the hostel well. They were nice and helpful though. I just hope they can talk more quietly during the sleeping hour. I did not expect a silent place since this is a hostel, and I booked for the shared bedroom, but the common area should not be that loud during midnight to 5am at least I think.
Review: nBirdsnest Hotel is a wonderful place to stay! The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the place was spotless. The friendly atmosphere among the guests made the stay even more enjoyable. Its location is incredibly convenient, with restaurants and public transport just a stone's throw away. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to friends planning a quick visit!
