Review: This is my forth time at this resort
Positive points: Stayed here a few times before. Modern and comfortable hotel in a lovely, quiet location next to the river. Rooms nicely furnished and beds very comfortable. There's a swimming pool in the garden area which is great for cooling off. Will stay here again in the future.

Negative points: The smell of moth balls (not sure what it's called in Vietnam) that really put me off. The restaurant for dinner was not ideal, the breakfast was ok.

Positive points: The view of the Mekong River from our room was excellent, and the breakfast had a nice selection of Asian and Western options. We stayed before Tet, too, and the street before the hotel was extremely colorful and lively with flower sellers extending along the riverside for more than five kilometers. The staff were nice and friendly, and one surprised me with his fluency in both English and Japanese. Overall, the hotel was a good deal for its price.
Negative points: It was too bad that the hotel area along the river was often full of trash (a problem in Ben Tre and Vietnam as a whole). It seemed to me that more of an effort could have been made to keep such a stunning attribute of the hotel clean. Also, photos of the hotel on most booking websites do not realistically depict the hotel. The hotel appeared much older and more run-down than we could have possibly known based on the online photos. Finally, the walls of our room were rather thin and you could easily hear other guests in their rooms and especially in the hallways as they opened and closed their doors and talked to each other.
Positive points: I like the quiet environment here. Although it is an old resort, but i feel good.
Negative points: I should have booked the river view. I booked the city view, so I could not see the good view from the river.
Review: Beautiful resort. Well worth it tp stay here if your interested the Ben Tre area.

Positive points: Old school hotel with lots of common areas, pool and other facilities. Included breakfast was great value. On the river with great views from the balcony.
Negative points: Not so close to Ben Tre city centre.
