Review: Amazing venue, a boutique-style hotel in Padang. Stay was good, 2 nights. But the room was too dark, and 2 narrow single beds pushed together doesn’t create a double bed. Both easy to fix.
Positive points: Convenient to airport train and to Mentewai fast ferry. Lots of delicious food options nearby and at the Bat & Arrow itself.
Negative points: Cold showers. Lots of stairs. Dark decor.

Positive points: Cozy little rooms, comfortable mattress, AC, hangers, chair, kettle, everywhere very clean, lots of spaces to sit and chill throughout the building, friendly staff, great breakfast included, 5 minute walk to train station
Negative points: Mild sewage odor at times in the bathroom, super loud music from the bar downstairs but only on Saturdays

Positive points: Nice clean and simple rooms above a really cool bar and club. Good for a night out and sleep after. Close to mentawai fast boat. Good location.
Negative points: Ok for me but maybe a warning for those who don’t know the music will be really loud from the club downstairs until 1am

Positive points: The rooms are simple but comfortable and including a desk, well designed. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning cold, and the private rooms good value for money. A simple but nice breakfast included.
Negative points: Weekends is not ideal for staying because there is music from the bar/club below which makes it difficult to sleep. So avoid booking on Saturday night.
Positive points: Atmospheric B&B right over the bar. We took a room with a balcony overlooking a river, it was nice there. I liked the interior design from beer bottles. If you are not that kind of treveller who is sleeping from 9 pm, it is a really good place, alive, a bar with music and drinks. It is really convenient that you are in the middle of the colonial quarter and the refreshing picturesque river is just behind the building.
Review: Great place to spend a night or two in Padang. Located on the river front not far from the fast boat terminal. Located in the old town which is interesting to explore. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a beer garden downstairs that has live music.
Positive points: Very eclectic. Good pizza
Negative points: Road traffic noise.

Positive points: Surprisingly quiet even though there’s a bar downstairs. Serves decent pizza. Room is great for such a bargain price, toiletries provided and water. AC too! Nice places to hang.
Negative points: Call to prayer was extra loud. Think it’s just outside the property? No sleeping after 5am. Ok for me since I had to be up early anyway.
Review: It has a bar downstairs, but I don't hear the music. I had a quiet sleep.
