Positive points: We had the second floor room, and it was amazing. It was very large with a high ceiling and wrap around balcony with views of the rice paddy next to it. The AC worked well, and the bathroom was nice. Wifi also worked very well.nnWe ate almost every meal here. Arista is a great cook!nnHe worked at another homestay for 20 years before opening his own here last year, so he knows what he's doing. We loved the two days of seeing waterfalls, visiting local artisans, and walking through the area to monkey forest. He takes care of everything for you!nnWe only spent three nights here, and they were the best in Lombok. I recommend spending at least 4-5 nights (more if you're going to do Rinjani or big expeditions like that), and it's a good idea to bring 500k - 1M in cash for each day here. There are some ATMs in Tetebatu, but it's more of a cash place. You aren't going to find souvenir shops and big hotels. Everything is very local here which we loved.

Positive points: Amazing experience staying with Aris and his family. The accommodations are modern, clean and well equipped. The garden is beautiful and the house is right next to a stunning rice field which you can see everyday when waking up. The host also took me hiking through the surrounding rice terraces passing by beautiful waterfalls and the monkey forest. Along the way he explained everything from the rice farming process to the different fruit and vegetables which are everywhere on the way. You can also visit the many artisanal crafts that make Tetebatu a special place on Lombok.nThe host and his wife are excellent cooks and the food at their establishment is the best I have tasted in Indonesia. All ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, everything tastes more than usual.nThe atmosphere is fun, laid-back and friendly.nWould definitely recommend.
