Review: The villa for the price provided is absolutely a great value. Staffs are super friendly and helpful, very good breakfast and free 15 mins massage. nnHowever, it needs some renovation and place is looking tired (paints peeling off ceiling and walls), need to trim weeds and grasses around pool area and needs some varnishing around wooden features
Positive points: We loved our stay here! We were met at the harbour with a sign and friendly smile. The staff were so kind and friendly from the beginning to the end of our stay. They helped organise bicycles, laundry and any other questions and tips we needed for the island. Our room was lovely and quiet, we really enjoyed the pool side loungers. They kindly put mosquito repellent sticks in every evening. Our breakfast was always on time and was good. Would definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay!
Negative points: The routes to get to the property are not very clean (Like many other parts on the island) but that is public space so we avoided it for the most part by using bicycles and it is not any fault of the accommodation.
Review: Great value. No complaints except maybe some better mosquito control (nets, insulation, etc). Def recommend and will return
Positive points: Everything and everyone!!!! Service was impeccable and beyond excellent!! Rian and June plus all the ladies and the massage therapist were superb! We cannot wait to go back again and stay!

Positive points: Great villa and pool , loved the outdoor kitchen!
Negative points: Pool needs daily attention..vacuuming etc.. In villa, paint was peeling off the walls… some outdoor wooden slats around the pool needs to be replaced, sliding doors didn’t slide….I asked to have these concerns addressed and they were, but I think the place needs some overall maintenance attention by it’s owners!

Review: This place is a dump. I IMMEDIATELY checked back out! The staff is so kind and I feel bad for them, but they must get this A LOT! They said the owner just don’t care and does not perform any maintenance. ALL the negative reviews you have read are true! nnNow unless you don’t care about the conditions, then save yourself heartache. The pictures in the listing are several years old. Paint was peeling off the walls, the tub is disgusting, everything is old and worn, the pool had a film over it, doors didn’t lock and some barely closed, it was a disaster!
Positive points: Everything was absolutely amazing! Staff was wonderful and we loved having our own private pool. Excellent value for the price and not far to walk from the harbor which is nice!

Review: The staff here are super nice and accommodating. They went out of their way to help out. nThe villa is one of the better values that I saw in Gili Air. I stayed at similar. Price points in Ubud, Bali and this was significantly better.
Positive points: The privacy, the kitchen, private pool the attentive staff, the cleanliness, wifi speed.

Positive points: The staff was outstanding- very kind and accommodating. I really enjoyed the breakfast and the afternoon tea delivered to my room. The room is spacious and comfortable. Location is good just a few minutes walk to the harbor and shops and restaurants.

Negative points: The way walking to the beach / restaurants was not great, not well lit, passing garbage and construction sites.nAll water also for shower etc was salty (might be general in gili Air? Not sure)nSome small stuff not working greatly at the villa (leg of one sunbed a bit broken, one tap on the sink problematic, etc, small things like that that we didn't mind, but were a bit annoying)nThe outside bathroom meant that for my gf that's bad big sun sensitivity, it was not very usable at specific time of day, when a lot of sun was directly there

Positive points: The wonderful and helpful folks at A Villa were amazing. So kind, welcome and friendly. They really made our stay amazing. Its the small touches that make a big difference, things like receiving a cold towel when we arrived - which we very much needed! It is a very quiet and peaceful space with plenty of privacy. Yet a quick 3 min walk takes you directly to the beach. It is amazing value for money, and the villa and amenitiies exceeded our expectations! It was such a luxury having our own pool - and we will remember our stay fondly.
Negative points: We foolishly let a mosquito into our villa! While a turn down service is offered -- which includes lighting mosquito coils, watch out and be vigilant not to let those suckers inside! While I cannot fault the Villa, the immediate surroundings remain undeveloped and a little rag tag, on the way to the beach for example is a swamp of garbage bins with flies buzzing around. This doesn't impact the stay at all, however i do hope that the island improves its rubbish management.
