评价： the room was clean but there was a strong smell coming out from the lower cabinets that spread in the room and made the room smell awful. called the staff and they helped sprayed the cabinets with a room freshener. I appreciate the help, but the smell won't go away. so the room freshener was just a temporary solution.

评价： n⸻nnI stayed one night at Grand Darmo Surabaya and chose the Executive Room. The room was spacious, clean, and came with a microwave, which was a nice touch. The lighting was bright enough, making it comfortable to do some work as well. My room faced the street, so I got to enjoy the Surabaya city lights at night, which was beautiful.nnThe hotel is centrally located, making it easy to get around the city. Right across the street, there are plenty of local food vendors and even a small area for kids to play. The hotel also has its own playground—though it’s quite simple, it’s still a nice addition for families traveling with children.nnOverall, it was a pleasant and convenient stay!

Room bad layout with tiny bathroom dan banyak stain di lantai, nyamuk dan cheap furnituren2 Amenities - poor quality,n*Towels are heavily worn, tattered withnholes in them and grey (iam pretty surenthey ised to be white 😅)n*bed sheet and pillow cases, discolored andnstainsn3. Restaurantn*makanan: banyak pilihan tapi qualitynsangat mengecewakan. Coffee: machinenneed to be clean and milk need to be refilln(we came 2x and found milk pitcher isnempty)n4. Patio by restaurant. There were no seats available inside but they had two nice patios which we had tables and chairs wiped down to dry the from rain. We love to sit outside. As we began our breakfast smoker came. We moved to the other patio on other side of restaurant and then smoker came. It is a confined area so smoke lingers. In each patio has 1 person smoking while we cannot find seat inside. Management answer, “Thats the way we made it”. Disappointing response. The guest are mostly family with children they should make more room for them.nnKesimpulan: saya tidak akan kembali lagi ke hotel ini karena quality dan hospitality yang sangat mengecewakan untuk harga yg dibayar. Restaurant harus ditinjau kembali terutama area makan, perlu dipertimbangkan untuk keluarga dan anak2.
