极光大酒店 (Aurora Grand Hotel)

缺点： Although the bed was fixed and tucked in, the sheets and the pillow covers were not changed. There were hairs on it and some stains so we know it wasn't changed. We never had a chance to complain to the front desk bec he didn't speak english and we were so tired from our very long flight. We actually had to invert the pillow covers and slept with our clothes on top of the bed. There was a mold formation up on the ceiling where the kitchen sink area was. There's no hot water so we had cold showers

缺点： They are old and not clean

缺点： the first room they gave me was in poor condition. it seemed like it got left out when other rooms were remodeled. The wifi was non-existent. I couldn't keep up with work activities. Had to move to another room. It was much better. There was no breakfast. It was hidden around a courner off the road so it was hard to find if you aren't very good at remembering.

缺点： Sadly the apartment was rather dirty with a lot of dust and a few hairs here and there. Facilities like the shower and kitchen were quite dirty and a little rusty as well.

缺点： Bad experience. First of all, when I moved in there was only one guardian who provided me that room. First problem is that I couldn’t find the switcher for the main light, the guy that worked in that hotel went to my room and didn’t find it neither, it was easier to moved in another room. (But what I found - one old dirty slipper under the bedside table). Ceiling near the bathroom has spots of black mold, the same on the floor, the shower fell on the flour sometimes. Wallpapers are torn, spots of the naked wall easily to see in the middle of the room. Resepcionists don’t know English too much or don’t have responsibility: I was asking to clean the flour in my room, after day out of the hotel it wasn’t made, in the next day cleaning came only in the evening. The password to WiFi is written on the table in the room, but surprise that on my floor it didn’t match to any of the spots, so WiFi just didn’t work in my room maybe. The “best” is customer service on booking.com. I needed to extend my stay, so I ask about that option. I was told that only one room left for extra price, I asked “Are you sure? If you are, okay I’ll take. I was answered “what do you think we do that for?” And the next text literally “if you don’t like go to another place. Well, I go. When I wanted to talk with a manager about my problems customer service of that hotel just stopped to answer my messages. I came to the lobby and found out that there are no any managers here! I was waiting for a time to speak with a manager at least at phone, but manager ignored the situation. So all stuff of that hotel is not controlled by someone and if you will need any help - nobody can do that for you and anything can be hided from the management of the company. If you want to experience rudeness, unprofessionalism and absence of working system and dirty rooms - that’s definitely your choice.

缺点： Room wasn't clean for everyday. Soap wasn't refilled. F

缺点： A little far from old town

缺点： I live in Hanoi, but I stay in hotels/apartments in the city to relax and get a different feel for Hanoi (it's the most culturally rich city I've ever been in). So, I can responsibly say that I know value in Hanoi and this apartment is a poor value. Even though it is priced low (I paid 1.3 million for two nights), the actual room is basically a short time room. The pictures are not accurate from what I experienced. There are stains on the walls and the wallpaper is peeling in many areas. The bathroom is just gross and the shower head is weak. Very basic toiletries are provided. The bed is traditional Vietnamese bed in that it is very stiff. I think foreigners will have a difficult time sleeping (I've been in Vietnam for years and still not used to these types of beds). There are also many things going on in the building: it's not just a hotel and apartment complex, but a business site (there are businesses on the bottom floors). So, it is a very busy site. For the same amount of money, you can find much better apartments for rent in the area. I would not recommend this apartment unless you have to be in the area and there is nothing else available.

缺点： Very run down, neglected space. There were hairs on the sheets (and again after our sheets got changed). The drain didn’t work properly and kept getting clogged which make the bathroom flood. Water stains/mould on the walls. Wi-Fi is not high speed, very slow and sometimes wouldn’t work at all.
