Villa Akmali Seminyak Basangkasa- 2 Bedrooms

Điểm trừ: Shower Room:nDownstairs shower room needs a LOT of work.. grout very dirty, toilet leaking on floor, toilet seat stained, toilet brush dirty, no ventilation, water pressure not great, towels old threadbare and yellow with age.nOverall it looked liked it needed a good disinfecting/ bleaching. nUpstairs bedroom: A/C is not working nnLiving Area/ Kitchen nAlthough this looks lovely in the photos there are no doors / screens please note it is completely open to the front garden and pool so was full of mozzies day and night which meant we couldn’t use the space when we returned in the evening without being bitten. nnThe kitchen worktop is covered in stains and there is an issue with ants. nnLocation: nJust off a very busy street in Seminyak and 15 minutes walk from Eat StnnThis was our second time in Bali and we are looking for somewhere we can go regularly but unfortunately Villa Akmali was disappointing due to needing much maintenance and a huge improvements in level of cleanliness

Điểm trừ: The photos of the Villa looks better online than in real-life. The villa is run down & needs an update/refresh. Water penetration in the walls, not much ventilation in the bathroom downstairs, shower pressure was terrible in the downstairs bathroom but upstairs was good. Hot water would run out quickly. rnrnBiggest Negative with this Villa was that there was a local wedding ceremony being held on the day after we arrived. the Gang was blocked over the whole weekend with excessive & loud noise throughout the night, singing, loud music etc - to the point where we couldn't sleep at night.. It went on for days.rnrnThen there was the temple behind out villa (Banjar Basangkasa) where there was a lot of noise until late night on a few nights during the week.rnrnThe noise pollution got to us in the end. Don't think I will stay here again as the location wasn't the greatest & there was too much noise during our stay. I'm sure there are better villas which are more modern & located in a better area than this one (Gg. Dewata - off Jl. Basangkasa) - Better to stay at Villa Akmali in Jl. Drupadi (they have a 2Brm one there also)
