Review: Pre-warning: DO NOT USE THE BATHTUB SINCE THEY DIDN’T CLEAN IT PROPERLY - THIS IS AN HOURLY RATE HOTEL FOR COUPLE SO AVOID USING IT AT ALL COST nnI need 2 nights stay before my upcoming flight. If it was a 1 night business trip, it would have been fine but elongated the stay a bit more than that was definitely a disaster.nnEverything is extremely dirty, especially the bathroom and the floor. Even asked they to clean properly the next day but they did the job poorly. The duvet insert was never washed - you can actually smell the scent of previous tenants.nThe bathtub has hair of previous guests. Wet and unhygienic.nnI tried to ask for new towels the next day but they lied and my request of duvet inserts was ignored. The room was full of mosquitoes and you will never have a good night sleep. Everything is either broken or dirty or out of date and smell funny.nnReasonable prices - not low price. And compare to the service you will be receiving, definitely not worth it. The staff is enthusiastic at a certain level but will not try to support customers beyond means, can’t speak English.nnLocation is nice and secure, convenience and tourist friendly. Overall tolerable but spent 100-200k and deeper research would have been wiser.

Positive points: The location is quite near the lake.nThe reception guy is very helpful.

Negative points: The photo you see on the website is different from when you arrive there. You can't even see the hotel logo from outside. nnDuring the 5 night stay, room cleaning service comes only one time.nnThe room smells like cat shit and I have to make a sincere request to clean well just for 1 time. Other nights, we have to clean the room by ourselves.

3.0 Needs to be taken in charge properly - JCharleston 13-11-2024

Positive points: Room is large more than usually in Hanoi. The full lake view is partially blocked by some roof, but it is nice at night you can see the light of the city behind. And lake protects from pollution. There is a fridge, there is an electric cooking pan and a kettle, they works after thoroug cleaning. All was easily cleanable. They give you a scratching sponge and dish soap. nSheets and towels are clean (very clean) you can get new ones in the laundry room, you can find toilet paper and water in a storage room if you search well. it stays open during the day, (basically you have to help yourself.)nThe location is great. The area and building are safe. The staff leaves here, they are super kind and gentle. Enjoy a bathtub. Hot water works well you just have to wait 10mn, and take breaks. The bed is huge and comfy. There is a big window you can open with a balustrade (not a balcony per say). This place could be awesome with a deep cleaning, some treatment and painting of the mold and good leadership.

Negative points: First, I have been coming one month every year (except covid) in Vietnam since 1993. I love Vietnam and Vietnamese. I stayed 4 nights in this place to remit the capital on my way to Ninh binh. So, no room service, no cleaning, no toilet paper (first night I got an empty roll left from pervious guests) . Mostly not clean (fridge, cooker, dishes and bathroom, greasy, still reminiscences of food, calcium and stuff in the glasses. I spent an hour cleaning the kitchen area, (fridge was growing stuff) floor dirty, dust balls, hair balls, pack of dust, everything was fast superficially cleaned. I found mold, and there was strong odors of vomit and mold in the building . I didn't take pictures but... This place No AC/heater, no microwave (I don't necessarely need it but it was in the description and the other tenants did not have either). Very sweet staff watch their phone and smile kindly they spend most of their time in their room, they are kind and polite but don't seem to know what to do. I arrived at one AM after 30 hours of traveling, could not enter the elevator that leads to the place because the manager did not think that it could be a good idea to send me the code...even though we had been communicating the last 24 hours. I had to wait for a person to get out so I could enter. BTW Room not sound proof (at all :-) ).

Review: THIS SHOULD BE REMOVED from the list of choices for accommodation. Staff keeps hanging up the phone. Place looks like a crack den. The photos and the painting on the structure gives off DRUG LORD's hiding place. Elevator doesn't work so it's very scary.

Positive points: The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the room is suitable for the price I paid. There are some excellent restaurants nearby, and I particularly enjoy the pubs around here.

Positive points: This apartment makes me feel comfortable like home, and it's easy to find. The hosts are lovely and hospitable they introduced me to the local specialty here, which is West Lake shrimp cake, Vietnamese cuisine is really interesting.

Positive points: Good spacious, well made rooms... Clean and comfortable. The locality is really good. Everything is available within walking distance... password operated elevator. Host Ms. Alice also deserves a mention... She made our stay and check-in quick and easy.. she helped us with early check-in also.

Negative points: The vending machine was not cooling well so I had to go out to buy beers.. but the supermarket is 2 Mins away. Some wall patches need paint job.
