Sunset Beach Bungalow

Đánh giá: Sorry to have to give the thumbs down, but at the price I would have liked a fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Staff, location and breakfast were great. Lovely seating on the beautiful beach. Great snorkelling straight out from accommodation. Would have been happy to stay here at a lower price.

Điểm cộng: Comfortable bungalow with sunbeds just across the road. Quiet area, good for swimming tho currents were strong at times. Better omelets than usual in country, served with tomatoes and avocado. I was able to get pot of coffee instead of just a cup. They arranged a private snorkeling trip and boat transport to Gili T. Very nice staff. I booked for 7 nights but stayed 12 nights.

Đánh giá: When we arrived, the helpful staff member did not appear to have a record of our booking. I don’t know enough Indonesian, and the staff don’t know enough English, so we struggled to communicate. I had to show him the booking confirmation on my phone. The bungalows are not as advertised. They were built in the late 80's early 90's. All the buildings need to be fully renovated. The sliding doors to our bungalow kept jamming and we spent a considerable amount of time trying to open and close them without damaging them. The left fitting for curtain rail at the front of the bungalow, detached when we pulled the curtains open. The lower section (30cm) of the two walls inside the bungalow had exposed plaster, that if you came into contact with, would rub off onto your clothes. We paid extra for a “sea view”. It is not a clear view of the sea from the bungalows. The room was lacking in a number of amenities/facilities. There is no soundproofing (if you have ever gone camping and stayed in a tent, that’s the sound attributes), if you have never gone camping, it meant you can hear every sound (I mean every sound!) made outside of the bungalow. They claim there are power outlets near the bed, there are none. There are no bedside lamps, only one bedside table and one wardrobe (both made from cheap plywood). There was only on light in the bungalow (a very bright bulb, there was another light socket, but no bulb). There is no hot water (to be fair they don’t advertise that they provide hot water) the shower head holder in the bathroom was broken, so you have to hold the shower hose to shower. The towel rail in the bathroom is “fixed” in place by 3 nails and falls down when if you pull a towel off as opposed to lifting it off. The two towels provided were clean but were threadbare. The breakfasts are good. At though not a wide choice. The first breakfast there was no orange juice, no lemon juice nor milk. The resort wasn’t full, so we didn’t understand why there was a shortage of the previously mentioned items. The air-conditioner was effective. The bed was comfortable, the bedding was clean and fresh. The beach area was great (beanbags, tables and chairs, parasols on some of the tales, and raised platforms with low tables, beanbags/cushions with roofs). Again, some of the beach furniture needs to be replaced. The location is very quiet (at night you can hear the music from Gili Trawangan, though it’s no too loud). The staff were friendly and helpful. What they (the owners) are charging for the bungalows per night is too expensive for what you get. If it wasn’t for the fact, we had quite a lot of luggage, and were only staying for two nights, we would have relocated. On the last night the wi-fi went down at around 21:00 and was still down when we checked out at 11:00 the following morning. Personally, wouldn’t stay there again if given a choice.

Đánh giá: I stayed 7 nights at Sunset Beach Bungalow and had a truly relaxing and memorable experience. The beachfront room was simple but comfortable, with a private terrace and stunning sea views. The daily breakfast was generous, with fresh juices and delicious local food.nnDam and his family were wonderful hosts, friendly, helpful, and always willing to accommodate special requests. They arranged boat trips, bike rentals, and snorkeling equipment, making everything easy. A dive center is nearby, and there are many great food options close by.nnThe peaceful island vibe, incredible sunsets, and kind local community made it ideal for relaxation and mindfulness. Highly recommended for couples, solo travelers, or families looking for a quiet escape by the sea.

Điểm cộng: My favorite place I stayed at Gili Meno! If you like rustic then this is the best!! Sure the toilet isn't bright white, but I have used much much worse! There was surprisingly no bugs or ants in my hutt, only the odd mosquito that snuck in from the bathroom.nnIf you like mid-scale hotels and really do not like bugs, this place is not for you.nnRight on the beach with comfy beanie bags and huts to watch the stunning sunsetnnThe air conditioning is amazing. There are many mosquitos in the bathroom so keep the door closed! Don't be too gentle with the bathroom door, it needs a little extra love sliding along.nnI ate the spring rolls nearly every day I was here.nnAmazing snorkeling right out front!nnI would stay here for a month if I could!! ❤️

Đánh giá: Poor, worn down bungalows. I felt bad for myself when I saw the bungalow I was assignedupon check-in. The rare bungalows look so sad... we changed our room to a sea view bungalow (with extra charge), it was a little better. n+ what I liked: the water hoses before the bungalows make it comfortable to wash sand off your feet. AC was good. n– very firm mattress, even though I like firm mattresses but that one was too firm even for me.

Đánh giá: Very basic accommodation, needs some repairs. We had lots of mosquitoes at night. The nice things is the front beach. The staff are friendly and apologized a lot. The breakfast was good.

Đánh giá: Quiet side of Gili Meno, nice to be on the beachfront but the bungalows need some maintenance and love. The entrance door and bathroom door were very hard to slide and close and we weren't a fan of the mosquitoes and cockroaches. They have a bug nets around the bed but it keeps all the warmth in so the Aircon doesn't really cool you down.

Đánh giá: The room is big, confy and with mosquito net, I love the location in from of the beach, and the breakfast included. All the Point of interest are just less than 11 mins walking, so no tour need to see the famous statues, turtles, reef garden etc.nnThe things that I did not like:n Shower with salty water, it looks like is a general issue in the Island but it feels like the water is ffirectly coming from the sea. Anyways from the price something that you can let go, If you are flexible. nnThe beach area could be more clean, the firts day I have to clean where I seat, it looks like someone got breakfast there but it was not clean till I arrived, by myself. nn
