7.0 Excellent property, but hospitality needs improvement. - Chetan 27-12-2024

Positive points: Posh and clean property that comes with an elevator and a digitally locked main entrance that can only be accessed by guests, making it quite secure for kids and families to stay as well. It is located on a street with many trees on both sides, with cafes and restaurants at walking distance. The room we booked was super clean and had windows that opened up into a standing balcony facing a street, making it fun to watch the locals start their day in the morning and also to check the weather conditions. The room also came with a water purifier, stove top and microwave and a super clean bathroom. Overall, a very good property at this price point.

Negative points: 1) There is no staff at the property except for the cleaning lady. 2) We were asked to pay the full amount at check-in time even before we could settle down into our rooms. When asked the reason, we were told that this is a studio apartment and not a hotel. This did not make much sense to us since we stayed at 7 different properties during our travel across Vietnam and none of them asked us to pay a single penny until we checked-out, even though the final bill was as high as 4 million VND at most properties. 3) The host was not very helpful and was mostly concerned with making sure we pay the amount on check-in and checkout on time. Being new to the country and city, guests will rely on the hospitality of the hosts, but the host simply responded with I don't know for many of our questions and requests. Hospitality needs to be improved. 4) The location is a bit far from old quarter and places of interest so a grab is a must, unless you don't mind walking for 30 mins.

Positive points: Every thing in the apartment was new. Clean and comfortable. Not noisy , and there is a washing machine and a dryer free to use.

Positive points: The service was prompt and attentive. Location was convenient— close to attractions like Train Street, Hoan Kiem, etc., but quieter than being in the old quarter itself.

Negative points: There was a large window (sliding door) but it opened onto a small wedge of balcony that was only about .5 meters at the widest and was about 10 cm from the concrete wall of the next building, so basically useless. No view and almost no sunlight. Listing should be clearer about the difference between rooms like this and the room pictured in the listing. This room should have been discounted.

Negative points: Bed felt like a brick wall.nIt was extremely cold as the apartment isn’t isolated at all (15 degrees outside, 15 degrees inside). nShower had warm water for 3 Minutes, no time to warm up.

Positive points: Mê lắm luôn. Phòng sạch sẽ, vị trí siêu tiện, khu phố ngay trung tâm nhưng mà rất yên tĩnh. Cô dọn phòng siêu đáng yêu, bạn hỗ trợ cũng cực kì nhiệt tình. Mình sẽ ở nữa nếu có dịp ra Hà Nội.
