Origin Seminyak

Đánh giá: The villa itself is nice, can do with a few touch ups. Pool and surroundings are nice. Breakfast was good with a variety. And the staff is very accommodating, especially if you have allergies. They have gluten free bread and dairy free items also. A few of us got sick (be very careful with the tap water). The staff sent over coconut water and juices to help with the sickness.nThe villa is a 3 minute walk to the shopping centre and the main street with restaurants and a 5 min walk to the beach. Very convenient. nOverall I would recommend this villa! Five stars to the amazing staff!

Đánh giá: Origin Seminyak is the worst villa I have ever stayed in Bali. During my 4D3N trip, I was made to move villas three times. Upon check-in, we were assigned to Villa 1 and encountered several problems:nThe pool was cloudy despite being told that the water would clear up in two hours, but it did not improve even after an overnight observation.nWe could not feel the air conditioning in the room, so we had to use a portable fan to get through the night.nThe shower water pressure was extremely poor, and the tap water provided in the room was unsuitable for showering or brushing teeth. The staff informed us that this was due to the close proximity to Seminyak beach, and the resort's tap water was a mixture of sea water and unfiltered water (we had stayed at other resorts near Seminyak beach without encountering similar issues).nOn Day 3, we returned to Villa 5 at 8:30 pm only to find out that there was no water in the whole villa. The staff informed us that it would take two hours for the engineering team to arrive at the resort to check on the problem and that they could not promise that the issue would be resolved by that night. We were offered to move to Villa 3, where we were provided with a room to stay for the night before checking out. Although the Origin staff was kind enough to tidy up the room for us to have a restful night's sleep, we soon realized that the clean towel provided was stained (not properly washed) and the room was not thoroughly cleaned before being offered to us. Overall, Origin is an overpriced resort. Although the breakfast menu varies every day, the menu is limited, and every villa we stayed in was swamped with mosquitoes. The pool was also too deep (approximately 2.5 meters) and the water was too cold (similar to a cold bath pool), making it unsuitable for toddlers or kids to swim in. I would not recommend anyone to book Origin if you are a family with young kids or a couple looking for a nice resort to enjoy a restful holiday. Additionally, please note that Origin does not provide 24/7 security or reception, which can be detrimental in case of an emergency.

Điểm cộng: Staff were fantastic and amazing. Quick response times and very helpful. We had an aircon issue with one of the rooms and the technical came in to try to deal with it very quickly. Unfortunately, you can't fix what is broken. The staff did their best but the owners/operator should have put in more effort to upkeep the equipment and change what doesn't work. They did try to make it up by sending us to the airport for free which we really appreciated.

Đánh giá: 5 mins away from Seminyak Village/Square, 15 mins to the beach, this villa's location can't be more central! nnYet nestled away in between the main streets, there is a calm amidst the hustle and bustle when you get to the villa.nnStaff were very friendly and helpful, especially the villa manager Rama as well as staff Utami. nnLove the pool - it is one of the longer ones (15-18m) and deep (2m), which is great for lap swimmers!

Đánh giá: Pros:n- Perfect location to walk to beach clubs, shopping streets and yet hidden in a quiet alley n- Hospitable staff who were always checking in and quick to assist when we had issues with our shower headn- Huge villa with decent sized pools and amazing breakfast (multiple options and very tasty)nnCons:n- Villa is very dated (No fault of the staff as it was clean but management has to consider a makeover- shower had poor pressure and very visible wear and tear all over Villa especially in toilet and furnitures which comes from aging). Considering the price point, one would expect better. n- Not many in Villa facilities if that is what you’re looking for n

Điểm cộng: The location was good but the hotel itself wasn’t that great, I expected more fancy and bigger hotel compared to the price and the photos of the hotel.nFood was good, tasty but it takes long time to get to you. Staff was the only good thing to mention for our stay.

Đánh giá: While we understand our stay was nearing Nyepi, the villa was exceptionally run down with nails protruding on the pool deck (we have young children who might run around and cut themselves on these rusty nails). While the staff were nice and tried to fix the deck, however the deck was still sinking and had rusty nails coming out. nnIn addition, there was a major power trip in our villa. Although staff tried to fix it in the rain, after 3 hours in the dark with no electricity and water, they offered us no alternative. We moved our lodgings immediately the next day. nnThe villa offered us a full refund and even offered us complimentary transport to our new hotel. However the lack of maintenance and solving of issues created a negative experience for our holiday..

Đánh giá: We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were wonderful and could not do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed in the 4 bedroom & pool is great, they provided is with pool toys. They provided endless drinking water provided which saved is a lot of hassle having to buy it. Very short walk to Seminyak Square & great restaurants. Highly recommend

Đánh giá: We had a great time here. Stayed in a two bed villa and it was fantastic. Staff were amazing and very accommodating. While a bit more expensive than accommodation we usually stay at in Bali it was definitely worth it. Breakfast was great. Highly recommended. We looked to stay at their accommodation in Ubud we were so impressed, but couldn’t change already booked accommodation elsewhere.

Điểm cộng: I loved the outdoor area with the grass and swimming pool, plus the fish pond inside near the kitchen. The kids loved that! I also liked that you could borrow pool toys and balls for the swimming pool. This was a real bonus and although seems small, it made a big difference having a soccer ball and pool floats. I loved that the master bedroom was upstairs in its own retreat. The location was fantastic, so close to a lot of great restaurants and walking distance to Seminyak Square.

Điểm cộng: Great location, friendly helpful staff. Size and layout of accommodation was excellent. Very comfortable with fans and aircon which were essential. The private pool was fantastic and the breakfasts each morning were a nice treat. Fantastic place for a relaxing holiday in the heart of Seminyak!

Đánh giá: Been to bali several times but this villa is hands down one of the best. 5 mins walk to seminyak square but located in the alley so you still have peace and quiet. Your driver really has to see the alley name because the alley way is small and not noticable but other than that, everything else is super good!
