Minren Hotel

Đánh giá: The guesthouse is right by the bus station of Sun Moon Lake. Very convenient. The owner is an elderly local man. They don't speak English, but I used Google Translate to communicate and it was fine. They are careful and enthusiastic. The hotel is old but clean, and there aren't many hair dryers available. If you just want a place to stop and sleep, I think it will be fine for the price.

Đánh giá: The staff is friendly and the rooms are surprisingly spacious for it's price. It's location is also good given that it's just 1 min from the bus station.

Đánh giá: Owner is very kind and helpful elderly gentleman. Gave me the departure times of all the various buses. No lift so those wirh mobility issues should take note

Đánh giá: Very convenient as its located just across shuishe where the bus from Taichung HSR drops you, but I disliked the lack of proper heating (winter travellers take heed), the small insects flying about my room that I had to kill and also the lack of big towels like most hotels (they gave me 4 small ones). Room service was not included for my 2 day stay. No tea packets were provided as well. I found the seating area too low, so those with squatting issues should be careful.
