Điểm cộng: It would be nice if the owner could go through the rules when we check-in. The owner got upset because we “forgot” to the turn off light in the bathroom. It was very uncomfortable and could have been easily avoided. Bathroom/showers don’t really get cleaned but the rooms are nice. It’s fine for the price

Đánh giá: i think the owner was just right out rude. i think he is somewhat prejudice. insisting that i am not american because if my looks. he screamed so loud as if he is like a gangster and wanted to pick a fight. the reason is he complained about my smell becuase of my wet clothes from heavy rain the orher day. i never had a owner or manager of any kind of business screaming and shouting at me, trying to refuse me from checking in and tried to kick me out. if i was a white amerucan, i dont think he would have been so rude and unkind. So bad! i have a very good impression of taiwanese general very gentle and kind. he is the most rude taiwanese or person i ever met in all the places around the world i had been to.nni think he was just prejudice and overly reacting to the bad smell. i asked the dorm mate if i smell. he said it wasnt so bad just a little

Điểm cộng: Great service, the staff handed me pamphlets with all the tourist reccomendations for Hualien, and sent me in Whatsapp all the good locations to eat in the area.

Đánh giá: This place had friendly staff that gave recommendations, clean facilities, and comfortable rooms. The location is really good too. I highly recommend.

Điểm cộng: The owner was amazing! Helped me with the bus schedule in another town, as I was trying to get to the hostel. Really helpful!

Đánh giá: This hostel is nothing to get excited about, but the price is cheapish and it’s reasonably near the train station and bus station for going to the Taroko Gorge. There’s not much social life here and nothing of note is near it. The facilities are pretty old and could do with a revamp. But it’s adequate as a base for visiting Taroko Gorge. The manager on check in was helpful.
