Review: My partner and I stayed at Lotus Saigon Hotel for two nights, and it was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. Upon checkout, we were charged 200,000 VND (approximately 14 AUD) for a pink mark on a towel, which was caused by my recently dyed hair. Prior to this stay, we had visited two other hotels in Phu Quoc, where no such charges were applied for similar situations. However, this hotel claimed they couldn’t wash the towel, justifying an unreasonable fee.

When I asked if I could wash the towel myself, the receptionist rudely agreed, showing a complete lack of professionalism. I was shocked by how poorly they handled a simple issue—especially with such an exorbitant charge for one towel.

Additionally, the breakfast buffet was another disappointment. We arrived around 9 a.m., and many items, including pineapple, had run out. When I politely requested more, the staff dismissed me, saying it was “finished” with no intention of restocking until someone asked. This lack of proactive service was incredibly frustrating.

Overall, I’m extremely disappointed with the poor service and unreasonable policies at this hotel. If you are a foreigner looking for good customer service, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

1) There were bed bugs all over the room
2) The room is in very bad condition
3) The check in is at 3pm and they want you to check out on time
4) There is so much noise from the traffic that you cannot sleep at all. They didn’t have any amount of sound proofing

Positive points: The staff were outstanding and couldn’t do enough to help us. Linh and MyKhanh on reception were particularly good and the security man on the gate was just brilliant and had the most amazing smile- always happy to see us. The shower was fabulous too.

Positive points: Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable. Room was at the front of hotel with a balcony facing the street so was pretty noisy, especially early morning.

Review: Old needs a reno not to far from intern air port this is ok but needs the taxi to get to the centre as location no good . is on main .

Positive points: I arrived very ill. The hotel called me a doctor straight away and gave me early check in. The front office went out to collect drugs for me.
Room was OK ... Not great but staff were superb.

Positive points: Pool was amazing. Breakfast was included and was great with a wide range of food, with a lovely outdoor balcony. The staff couldn't do enough for you.

Review: 1. Terrible booking service: I made a reservation through Agoda, but the staff asked for my phone number to contact me directly and constantly caused trouble to request a change in room type, claiming that they had made a mistake in the booking. Meanwhile, checking the system on another day showed that the price difference wasn't significant. The staff requested additional payment to use the room type I had booked and paid for through Agoda.
2. Staff behavior: There was absolutely no apology from the staff, nor did they offer any assistance when they unilaterally requested a change in the room type (downgrading to a lower category). At 10:50 PM, the hotel closed all the gates, without any security guard present to open them guests had to find a way to open the gate themselves and found two security guards sleeping soundly.
3. Room quality: Extremely poor, I was awakened at 5:00 AM due to the smell of cigarette smoke from the adjacent room or the hallway. I suspect this is because there is a shared door between the two rooms, which might allow them to be opened up for family use. The curtains are too thin, letting light into the room from 5:00 AM even though they were fully drawn.
4. Soundproofing: The soundproofing is terrible I could continuously hear conversations and coughing from the neighboring room.
