Hoang Kim Hotel

Review: Good and affordable accommodation for a night when we arrived in Ha Giang. The host was very friendly and supportive. There was a well-trained bird, which was a plus.
We spent another day at this hotel before moving back to Noi Bai Airport the day after.

Positive points: Very nice young staff. Clean everywhere. Big rooms and bathrooms, great quality furniture. The elevator in the building also is an advantage. Very calm in and around.

Positive points: Very nice staff, comfortable beds and overal nice hostel. We were able to leave our big luggage there during our 4 day ha giang loop trip and we could even take a shower when we got back even though we were not staying there anymore. They have breakfast available if you want. Very good price for what you get.

Positive points: Staff were very kind. I left my glasses on the table in the lobby and the manager, Jenny, arranged for them to be sent with a bus to Hanoi. Jenny arranged for a bus to pick me up to take me to Tam Song so I go could go to the local market.

Positive points: The staff were very kind, and they happily allowed us to keep our bags there while doing the Ha Giang loop.

The location is also very close to the bus station

Review: Highly recommended hotel and more! Jenny, the receptionist was extremely helpful in booking sleeper buses even when websites indicated the busses were unavailable. This place also rents motorbikes in New condition and provides personalized services that was swift and efficient. Much different than the experiences I've read about with the bigger companies.

Location is conveniently located next to the bus station. In fact, I could see the bus station from my bedroom window. They also have a couple of bicycles that they had no problems letting us borrow to go into town to grab a bite.

If your a small group, couple or mature solo traveler, this is a great place.

Positive points: The staff were fantastic, they were so helpful when I was unwell and advised us on a hospital and organised a taxi and allowed us to extend our stay.

Review: The hotel located about 5 minutes driving to the centre. Friendly staffs. They have hot water and aircon. They also have services for riding bike around the Ha Giang Loop.

Positive points: Short walk from the bus stop. Great value. Comfortable bed with good air con. Staff very lovely and helped fix an issue late at night in less than 10 minutes.

Review: Pros: bathroom has strong and warm water for cold day.
Cons: there's some mosquitoes flying in bedroom.
Acceptable for travelers who pass ine night before go to another check point in Ha Giang as Dong Van, Meo Vac...

Positive points: Jen the owner/manager was very accommodating, let us choose our room as the beds varied in softness/hardness. Laundry service was great.

Positive points: Super friendly staff, accommodating for a late night check in. However, the beds in our room were very firm. Our friends said their room had comfortable beds though!

Review: Handy location next to bus stop, so if you are doing a motorbike tour you can rest a night. Room is very average, but the price reflects that. I had an issue at 1am with my room neighbor smoke drifting into my room and they shifted me. All good for an overnight room

Positive points: Ideal location to prepare for Ha Giang loop - near bus stop & local hire places etc. comfortable room and friendly hosts - main Ha Giang town is a short ride away, but plenty to eat/drink nearby.
