Ha Giang Hostel

Review: Booked a room, it was super clean.
Everything went well from check in to check out. The hostel seems new and everything is well maintained.

Also booked a tour for the loop, would recommended it because it’s only small groups.

Positive points: Awesome hostel, but even better Ha Giang Loop tour booked through these guys - my driver To was excellent on the 3 day, 2 night trip. It's a small group (unlike some of the other hostel's tours), the included accommodation is top-notch, and their 'easy rider' drivers super-friendly, full of energy and really looked after our group from start to finish. Highly recommended :)

Positive points: We just finished the Ha Giang Loop on a private trip with Hinh and Toan and it was an incredible experience. Our guides made our trip so special by providing cultural education and really showing us the beauty of the area. We knew it was going to be a good trip but we never expected the sincerity and compassion we received from our guides. We always felt safe with them as our easy riders and they took exceptional care of us throughout the 4 days. The homestays were a wonderful experience and all the meals were fantastic and plentiful. We truly cannot say enough about this life changing trip and we will miss our guides so much who after 4 days have become like family! Stop researching and book your trip with Ha Giang Hostel- you won’t regret it!

Review: Helpful and kind owner, clean rooms and nice hot showers. Also provides nice bikes so you can start your loop from there. Would stay again!

Positive points: This was a great option for a quick stay before the ha giang loop tour. The private room was spacious, shower hot, and everything was new and clean. Breakfast was great as well.

Positive points: The hostel was really new and felt like a hotel with good facilities. The staff were great and were ‘on it’ as soon as we asked to be added to a loop tour. They sent information about the costs, what was included and what to bring and kept us informed of buses and any changes. We did not have to pay anything until we arrived.
All the loop easy rider guys were very safe drivers and took good care of us. Toan the group leader was excellent at his job and continually checked on our safety and well being as well as having a sense of fun. We were a little late returning to Ha Giang but only because he was trying to keep us all happy by visiting a better priced Hmong villager store.
I would not hesitate to recommend both the Ha Giang hostel and the Easy rider guys.

We were greeted warmly and received so much support for our trip along the loop (we drove by ourselves). After we came back, we were very cold. But the aircon heated up the room very quickly. The room itself was new and clean.

The breakfast was nice and fresh. While we were waiting for our bus back to Hanoi, we were invited to try a classic Vietnamese dish, they actually cooked for the family. Just amazing. We were treated so nice and hospitably.

Positive points: This Hostel is the perfect starting point if you’re thinking of doing the Ha Giang loop. I stayed in a private room which was great for a good nights sleep before heading on the road. The facilities are as good as you’ll find anywhere! The staff are super friendly and willing to help at any point. I didn’t arrive until 2:30am and they were in contact with me every step of the way making sure was going okay. They arranged for a bus to pick me up from Hanoi as well as drop me back when I was finished on the loop. I had dinner delivered to my room for a small cost as well as my laundry cleaned and delivered to my room. I chose the 3 night 4 day easy rider trip which I’d highly recommend to get the full experience of the loop. My driver was called Thang and he was amazing! Always making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. He even gave me some additional clothes when things got cold as tends to happen during winter in Vietnam. He was knowledgeable and always giving information about our locations. He really is a credit to his employer! I couldn’t recommend the Ha Giang Hostel enough and I intend on doing the loop again but riding myself. I will absolutely be staying here again when that happens.

Positive points: We did 3 days 2 nights tour of Ha Giang and had the best group ever. Minh was our guide and we had 4 other great drivers who were all amazing, Bien, Sa, Thang and Toa. We had so much fun, seen so many incredible things and would highly recommend.

Positive points: I really like the bed in the dorm, very comfortable and clean. The staff are very kind and even offered me a free ride to my next destination.

If only I knew they had a Ha Giang Loop tour too, I would have booked it with them since it’s not very pricey and you will be in a small group.
