Đánh giá: This is a good hotel with spacious rooms and a decently sized pool for swimming. Breakfast buffet is great. But restaurant otherwise is below standards. It takes too long for the food to arrive, and the quality isn't worth the wait. Hotel is undergoing some renovation at its main lobby area, so perhaps they are not fully operational on the F&B side, but guests will expect better of a highly rated hotel. Bathrooms by the poolside are also substandard so you should shower in your own room after a swim.

Điểm cộng: The location. The breakfast was excellent and Mr Hotlan was so kind and friendly towards all the hotel guests!
Điểm trừ: One of our room wasn’t ready upon check-in time. We had to wait until 4pm and keep asking the receptionist for the key. It was disappointing because lack of coordination between hotel staff. After we entered we found that the bed sheets had some dirty stains and the room had some weird smell. The hotel staff proposed to put air purifier instead and it helped a little.

Điểm trừ: Facilities, hot water was less, cafe was until a certain time not 24 hours, lobby parking slots were not meant for customers staying in the hotel most of the time.

Điểm cộng: Their breakfast was very good. We loved the Teh Tarik. The concept which involved UMKM and various was interesting. The room is spacious.
Điểm trừ: The FO staffs needs training. Wait long for checked-in. They showed no empathy when we asked if they had first aid for cut. Being rejected (at first) when asking for business bill eventhough we had requested on our booking. The staff pointed at us when the deposit receipt was not found, call us screaming at lobby (The staff did not give us the receipt. We asked them to check the cctv but they did not reckon). Greeted a staff at lobby's toilet, but no reply. The biggest of all, there was no apology. We left the hotel mad.nnThere was strange smell in the shower room and aisle.
Điểm cộng: The decor of the lobby and common spaces was very lovely and the attention from the front desk staff and housekeeping was superb.
Điểm trừ: The was a mildewy smell to the room and two of the water sources in the bathroom constantly leaked. Dining onsite was frustrating, as we abandoned by staff in empty restaurant. we had to get up several times to find a server to request assistance.

Điểm cộng: Beds are very comfortable. Inside the room is big and very quiet. The tv is big.
Điểm trừ: Elevators are so slow : you need to wait so many times because there are only 3 and they are not well programmed! The buffet for the breakfast the weekend is around the swimming pool so it is very noisy with kids playing and screaming. The buffet is not well organized: lots of plates were emptied and not enough place to seat : we need to wait that someone gone to sit down.nThe bathroom should be more maintained

Điểm cộng: Everything was exceptional! Staff was great, amenities great, room was clean and comfortable. For the price I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Sir Hotlan was amazing while we were eating breakfast. Very friendly and helpful! Terima kasih banyak Grand Mercure Medan
Đánh giá: One thing to improve is the room availability and attention to detail when we do out booking. Experienced room have to be upgraded as hotel was overbooked. Air Conditioning system at the loby and cafe should be taken note. Medan is tropical country and it is not jice to have outdoor meeting all the time while lobby air conditioning is very poor.
