Gangnam Seven Hostel

Review: I avail the 4 person female dorm for June 7-13 (6 nights). And sad to say, I was unlucky with my room mates. Their things are all over the rooms. Trashbin inside the room and in the bathroom were overflowing!! In my opinion, I think they were not letting the staff in to clean the mess. In my 3rd night, our bathroom was clogged drainage already and the smell of the room is not that good anymore because of the trashs in trashbin. I had super early checked out in the next day because I cannot take it anymore. I did not stay until my check out date.nnLockers are inside the room but no padlock. Location is good, staffs are nice. But if you get bad luck with your room mates, it will not be worth it. Even you pay cheaper, it will not be worth it.

Positive points: The location is near a metro station and some restaurants.rnThe bed and pillow are quite comfortable and soft.rnThe air conditioning in the room is good and can be adjusted according to your needs.rnThe drinking water is also available for the guests.

Review: Front desk staff were a little unhelpful in finding laundry but not the end of the world, not much of a common area but clean and orderly

Positive points: - Great location with two subway stations very close by.n- Plenty of convenience stores, cafes, restaurants and anything you might need in walkable distance.n- Free water dispenser was a life saver.n- Very nice staff.n- Spacious room and bathroom.

Review: The hotel is quite close to the station, but be aware that it does not have an elevator. It is located on the 3rd and 4th floors, so if you’re traveling with heavy luggage, you might have some difficulty carrying it up

Positive points: Most affordable and cleanest hostel in Seoul.

Review: Kamar mandi ada di dalem ruangan, bersih banget. Cuma sayang ada bercak sedikit lembab do pojok atas dinding atap.

Positive points: Pretty cheap and good location. They say you get what you pay for, but I don't remember paying for a room full of black mold with virtually no air circulation. At least my roommates were funny.

Review: Great staff, great location and very clean and tidy and quiet and safe for everyone!

Positive points: The hostel is located close to the subway station, but a bit far from the main attractions. The room and bathroom were clean. The staff is very nice, you can leave your luggage after check out.

Review: Considering the low price, there’s really nothing much to complain about. They don’t provide slippers, and since most hostels in Korea require you to take your shoes off indoors, first-time visitors should keep that in mind. They have quite a few staff members and many rooms. You’ll need to show your passport to check in — it feels more like a proper hotel with a formal process.nnBathrooms are inside each room. there are no public restrooms. After you check out, you’ll have to use the restroom at the subway station (just FYI).nnAs for common areas — There’s just an old table and a worn-out sofa in the hallway. The narrow and messy kitchen can fit about three people.

Positive points: Nearby the subway exit. But it's quite far from the city centre. Even if you want to go to Gangnam tourist area, you need to take the subway (again).
