Positive points: It’s set in a lovely quiet typical Balinese village, very close to the stunning Jatiluwih rice terraces.rnLoved the kindness and yummy traditional cooking of the host.rnI was lucky to be included in all their new year celebrations. They even lent me a sarong to attend the ceremonies held in the village :). rnComfortable bed.
Negative points: The room was too warm for me at night.rnrnIf you like your own space, it might not be the place for you as you are living in the house with the host. I was ok with it as I stayed only 1 night.rnrnIf you want your own space and want to stay in the jungle, their nephew has a beautiful place very near by called “duegoal farmhouse” that you can also find on booking.com.
Positive points: This is a lovely family home not far fromnBedugul. We stayed there for one night on our way to the Bali Botanical Gardens. nLarge beautiful garden, well tended. Quiet jungle and rice fields. nThe rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Towels were provided. nThe bathrooms are new and clean. nThis is a traditional Balinese house. nThe kitchen can be used and well stocked. We cooked our dinner and breakfast there. nThere is a lovely walk round rice fields right outside the house and it’s absolutely wonderful.
