Trang Vu Homestay Cu Lao Cham

Review: The room was clean and very basic. Had a restroom and shower within the room which was great. The water filter machine was nice too. Wish they had a tea kettle and / or mini refrigerator. Nice staff. No restaurants or tap hóa anywhere near.

Review: We booked 3 nights here and ended up staying for 6. The place is clean, quite, and comfortable. A Great value for the money. The host family is wonderful and made us feel at home during our stay. We were given fruit, snacks, and tea almost daily, as well as a complimentary homecooked dinner after extending our stay. We were able to rent scooters and snorkel gear from them as needed at a very reasonable cost and with discounts for multiple day usage. I would definitely stay here again.

Positive points: The hosts are very kind and helpful. There is a language barrier but nothing that google translate may not solve.
I liked to have the beach 4minutes away by walk and to be not far from the main village. Room cleaned (had some ants on the second day but got cleaned after I asked).
Neighbourhood a bit noisy but stop karaoke at 22:30 the latest.

Review: I highly recommend this homestay for travellers who need a basic room and private toilet. The guesthouse also owns a boat so possibility of excursion. The staff are very friendly and very generous. They always give you food and we were invited to a fish dinner free of charge on top of all the fruit and tea they always give you when they bump into you. Free drinking water is also provided. Possibility to rent a motorbike and snorkelling gear.

Positive points: The kindness of the family, their availabilitay, the location nearby the beach and the center, the bed's size.

Very good welcome, attentive and very kind, we did not stay long but it was very pleasant. Not far from the pier and easy to find. A big point for the sandwiches offered before our departure by Ferry. If you want to have a good time on Cham Island, go there without hesitation.

Positive points: Nice family home stay. Rooms were small but comfortable. Had air con and a fan. Friendly family. Good location. Can rent motorbikes from them. Great value for money.

Review: I stayed for a week here and I only have good things to say about this homestay, a very friendly family working here who take care of you if there’s any issue. Very lovely people. I hope to be back some day.

Positive points: The accommodation met all of our expectations. We only stayed one night but were perfectly comfortable and the owner had the room ready for us to check in early when the boat arrived.
The owner was extremely helpful organising the boat as a very last minute request (I recommend this service as otherwise it is quite complicated). We also rented a scooter for the day which was very reasonably priced and fun for getting around. Although the hosts don't speak English it was easy to communicate with Google translate. The room had air con and a fan which was definitely needed! The location is perfect for getting to the beach and the village. The hosts gave us a small gift as we left which was very sweet of them. Beautiful view at sunrise.

Positive points: Cham island was a suggested destination of a dear friend. It has amazing beaches (one of the best at 5 minutes walk from the homestay) and a cool fisherman's village vibe. For sure not for parties although there are quite a few bars. The homestay is conveniently located just outside the village, 5 minutes walk from it and same to Ong beach. The family is extremely kind and helpful and they offer bike and scooter rental for a good price and also every meal if you tell in advance. The room was a decent size and clean.

Review: Cheap food, boat, motorbike ...

Positive points: Ms. Trang is the best hostess you'll ever find. I can't thank her enough for all she did while my husband and I stayed at her homestay - sometimes she'd just surprise us with a free meal, or an orange juice when it was too hot, helped my husband prepare a surprise for my birthday,... It was just great.

The room was small but absolutely fine for us, and it was very tidy and clean. At night, it was very peaceful and quiet which was perfect for a good night of sleep and rest.

If we ever return to the Cham Islands, we'll definitely stay with Ms. Trang again. Absolutely recommended.
