The Jade Hotel

Negative points: We got I. Late around 10:30pm. The kid working the front desk must have been new. Had to dig up enough cash between the two of us because he didn’t know how to take a credit card.

Negative points: nothing

Negative points: Had a family suite yet our room felt stuffy as it had windows that did not peer outside, but inside the grey interiors of the hotel building. “Inner courtyard view” is a lie
Filthy room, with LOTS of ANTS crawling in every crevice of the floors
Bathroom had a clump of hair from previous guest
Weird bubblegum scented body wash and shampoo. No shower rack to store your own toiletries
Indoor slippers provided look used and dirty
Induction stove was only there for show? Warning sign says we would get fined if we use it to cook. Why put a stove at all then?
Not a full sized refrigerator as listed, but a mini fridge. No microwave
Can hear neighbors clearly in the hallways and nearby rooms
Ridiculously slow WiFi
For $28 a night, you could find a lot of better hotels in Viet Nam. Had to book this same day last minute because other hotels in this district were unavailable

Negative points: There is literally no soundproofing, you can hear the neighbors yawning, not to mention the sounds from the street (at 5 am I heard Roosters). The blanket looks more like Napkin, bed remind stone. There was a hob in the room, but cooking was prohibited and there was a charge for doing so. All lights are controlled by a switch near the door, no bedside lamps. There is a spot on the wall that looks like mold. The room was cleaned once, when I asked for it, but in 5 days it was never cleaned. Far from the center and airport. Staff don't know english at all. No warm water at night

Negative points: Accommodation and room are not clean, if not dirty. Hotel receptionist is not warm and attentive. Does not assist customers in moving luggage upon arrival or departure. You must be careful when checking in, this hotel always wants to scam you and ask for extra money to clean the room and wash the blankets. I have never encountered a case where the hotel asked to charge extra for having to change blankets, pillowcases and towels when checking out.....in general, a very bad experience I have never experienced.... You must be very careful when using this hotel if you don't want to have a bad experience like me......

Negative points: reception/security keep your passport at check in for duration of stay and get it back when checking out. I refused to leave my passport. at which my money was just handed back to me and pointed at the door. eventually they did let me stay with me keeping my passport. ive never had to leave my passport at a hotel with check in.

there is a stove in room, but not allowed to cook food in room.
