The Barari Villas

Review: We were very disappointed in the condition of this place. It is very run-down and basic maintenance (electrical, paint, etc.) has not been done. The light switches don't have covers & there are bare wires exposed, which is a safety hazard. The cables for the T.V. have been cut do not work. There is pealing and blistering paint on several walls. These issues were present in both rooms we were given. They switched us from our room, number 1 to number 4 because the air conditioner was not working and they couldn't fix it. The staff was not friendly and we're staying in room number 2 with the curtains drawn when we arrived. During the 2 days we were there, we never saw anyone at front desk. We were offered a welcome drink of lukewarm water mixed with syrup. That was the extent of the hospitality we received. It definitely wasn't because of a language issue because my husband is Balinese. We were the only guests staying at the place, so they definitely weren't busy either. There was no bottled water in our room or available to purchase because the 2 refrigerators in the lobby were empty & unplugged.

Review: we were 3 friends to spend our holidays at Permeturan.
the staff is incredible and plenty of love.
we had good food, and you can even have party with the staff !
