THANH LONG HOTEL

Review: When in Ho Chi Minh City, we choose Thanh Long hotel as it is near the airport. The facilities are modern as well. We are repeat guests.

Positive points: Close to the airport, the room was quite spacious, good value on the breakfast buffet, friendly staff

Positive points: The staff was nice and accommodating. The breakfast was varied and really good. A good location close to airport, walking distance to food and a pharmacy. The room we had was a little dark and not a great view, but other wise a pleasant few nights stay

Positive points: The hotel is located though super close (1.7km) to the airport but nice and quiet in the alley. We loved the variety of the complimentary breakfast foods. The staffs are great. The room is spacious. The beds were very comfortable.

Positive points: Staff was really friendly. They carried my bag inside the lobby, check-in and check-out processes were smooth, and they were really hospitable when I reported a problem with my room. The receptionists spoke sufficient English for check-in/out processes and for troubleshooting problems, had no complaints regarding that.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were soft, but the decoration pillows were firmer if you prefer firmer pillows. I had a room with a nice view but windows for some rooms do seem to point to a blank concrete wall. The AC can be set strong enough if needed. Toiletries, coffee/tea and drinking water were provided for amneities.

I liked that the power outlets were compatible with multiple plug types.

The breakfast buffet had good Asian style variety and was good enough if you don't feel like looking for breakfast somewhere else.

I used this accomodation for an one night layover. I can highly recommend it for short stays / layovers and I'd happily stay here for longer. However, I'm not sure if the distance is a bit too far if you intend to stay for visiting HCMC.

Review: Nice little hotel close to the airport, perfect for a layover or need to be close to the airport for an early flight. The room was clean, everything we needed, except one small negative, the pillows were over firm for us, so we didn’t get much sleep. Recommended.

Review: A fantastic little hotel located walking distance from the Saigon airport. There are many great restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood, however, if you are looking for quick access to the city center, this is not the location for you as it is between 30 minutes-1 hour depending on traffic from most of the historic sights and museums. Would absolutely recommend for anyone coming to Saigon that wants a great place to rest but doesn’t want to be in the most touristy places.
