Positive points: Very good staff
Review: Vị trí đẹp nhân viên nhiệt tình
Positive points: The staff was friendly and we were able to check into our room early which was nice. It was quiet and right across from the beach. There are also two very cute kittens at the hotel.
Negative points: It was a bit far to walk to restaurants and things you may need. But would be okay if you have a car or motorbike. The area around is very dead. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable.
Positive points: Very friendly staff :)
Positive points: The size of the room. The location and the view. The owner of the hotel Thu took me for a tour around Dong Hoi on the back of her bike which I very much appreciated. Thank you Thu.
Negative points: The lock on the door is difficult to lock so I didn’t bother to lock.
Positive points: Near the beach
Negative points: Quite old, don't choose the room without window (hot, sweltering)
Positive points: Amazing hospitality Lucy was very kind and allowed for early check-in. She also upgraded a better room for early check-in. Have a couple beach street food and hangout bars open late night
Negative points: Everything was alright
Positive points: Nothing I liked. I believe that was a pretty good location, cannot say exactly as this stay put me off from Dong Hoi the very next day. I didn't see it worthy to spend time around the hotel. The receptionist we met in the morning was quite friendly, accepted the cancellation with no questions with further refund.
Negative points: It was dirty. The bedding was stained. The bathroom was dirty. The tray above the sink was full of water. The sink was aggressively leaking. There is a strong smell in the bathroom from the gutter. The bed was super hard. Very uncomfortable with guaranteed backache next morning. No duvet but the case only. It happened to be cold. The floor was full of rubbish. Certain corners either haven't been reached for cleaning or there was no cleaning at all. We checked in too late to cancel the entire booking but did it the very first thing the next morning. There is some maintenance work in progress but it is not a good excuse to pay whatever for what they offer. We spent some time in the hotels and homestays in the area. Thang Long was not the cheapest but worst so far.
Positive points: The hotel manager was very helpful about our needs and informed us about places we wouldn't be able to find ourselves
Positive points: The ocean view was nice but that was it
Negative points: The beds were awful!! So hard, we couldn’t sleep, worse than the train! 2nd night I rolled up a blanket to put under my hip so I could sleep, I’m not a picky sleeper but these were bad. Checking out took so long as the young man couldn’t do basic math and couldn’t understand English , not much around the place in the way of food, shopping etc. need a car, not a walkable area
Positive points: Candy was an exceptional host. She cared for my daughter and I when my daughter was sick, made us food and drove us to the train station for no extra cost. She was so good to chat to about her life.
Negative points: We visited in winter so nothing was open around the hotel, it was a bit run down. The beds were very hard ( apparently domestic tourists like the hard beds). Not super clean in the room.
