Silk River Hotel Ha Giang

Review: Came off the tour and stayed here for one night. Lovely hotel just a short walk from where we finished the tour.
Could tell straight away from the reception that it was a good hotel.
Fab room and facilities. Great pizza restaurant next door. Great breakfast.
Great decision to book in here for the night rather than traveling straight back to Hanoi.

Positive points: Hi, there’s not much around in regards to restaurants and shopping for Westerners to go to.

Review: Nice large clean rooms. Good bathroom with separate shower. Big comfy bed. The hotel staff were really good and quickly helped us sort out the hot water issue. We only stayed one night, however it was a very good experience. Thank you

Review: I would love to give 5/5 stars: the staff were friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean, the showers were hot with good water pressure, and the breakfast was really good. Unfortunately they lose some stars as there were people living on the floor above us that were very noisy and we had a difficult time sleeping. There were people moving furniture and kids running down the halls until well past midnight. The staff were very apologetic in the morning so I would consider giving them another try because otherwise the place was very nice!

Review: This is one of two very nice hotels in hagiang. We stayed here the night before we started the loop. Nice room, nice staff, breakfast was good nothing out of this world.

Review: Clean, spacious rooms (I booked a river view room). Staff are friendly and helpful. There’s some things they just don’t have, for example a bottle opener, matches. However these are easily sourced at nearby shops. The town in general has very little English. The staff have some English and do their very best but sometimes you need to make sure you know what you are trying to say. In any case, the people were all so nice

Positive points: A hidden gem and one of my best experiences so far in Vietnam. Quang, the receptionist, welcomed me like an old friend and was helpful in the same way. The staff is nice and charming, and the room was very comfy with a fantastic view over the river. Breakfast was top notch in a chilled athmosphere, not that hussle n bussle you usually have at the hotels over here. All in all a great value for the dongs you pay.

Review: Nice hotel about a kilometer away from the centre of the town.

Positive points: A clean, comfortable and well-appointed room with a Juliet balcony overlooking the river and mountains. Breakfast buffet is Vietnamese fare, with plenty of selections and—if you ask—eggs to order.
