Ronal hotel

Review: So conveniently located. Near the beach, shops an lots of terrific restaurants. Great breakfast included. Would recommend!

Review: Richico Hotel(Ronal Hotel) is nothing like what is advertised. The photos on their site are not current. After our first night we paid to upgrade to a larger room. The linen is old, stained and threadbare. The cleaning of the room is cursory at best. The breakfast room has many options but they are usually cold and you have to wait for more to be served. The location of this hotel is really good, it's a shame nothing else is. We have stayed in many budget hotels in Asia and have had good experiences. We would definitely NOT recommend this hotel.

Positive points: Inexpensive bordering on cheap. Good Value for Money. Good breakfast. Good massages. Decent location but have to negotiate with tour operators. Close to beach and lots of restaurants around. Excellent coffee shop next door. Laundromats close by. Decent location.

Review: My boyfriend and I upgraded to more of a studio style room which had 2 beds and a kitchen. It was clean and spacious and once the A/C for going it was nice and cool. The beds were firm but comfortable. The bathroom was newly renovated with a rain shower which was nice but it takes a long time for the water to get hot. The room also smelled really musty so we bought an air freshener to spray it- it didn’t bother us enough to complain but it just smelled like it hadn’t been used in a while and the dishes all smelled musty too. We also had to google how to use the stovetop so some English/vietnamese instructions to use it would have been helpful. It was nice having free breakfast but the location for it was so quiet and didn’t have a nice atmosphere or vibe. We really enjoyed going up to the pool which had a beautiful view of the ocean and city! It’s too bad the pool facilities are quite run down though, you can tell there used to be a bar/cafe and gym up there but it’s in ruins. Overall for the price we were really happy with our stay and found amazing restaurants nearby- don’t miss the diner next store!

Positive points: Staff were very good. They provided table and chairs for the room on our request. Always riendly, helpful and cheerful. Location was good for the beach and other facilities.

Review: This is an ok hotel for the price. There was some work being done in the lobby area, fire doors were propped open in the stairwells, it took two days to fix my airconditioning and the fridge only worked on the last day even after I mentioned it to three different people..
