Puri Tulamben Dive Resort & Spa

Review: a super nice Dive resort, nice staff, breakfast was delicious, the location for divers is top, however the only down side, there is not much else to do in Tulamben, which has nothing to do with the hotel. The hotel offers a high standard and you will be very comfortable.

Review: Everything was great. The only complaint I have is with their in house massage service. The massage was done in such a way that there's almost no privacy. Other than that though really loved the stay. Would definitely book again.

Positive points: Best value for money in Tullumben. Great rooms, modern and clean. Lovely day bed on the verandah. Well stocked drinks menu in the restaurant. Fabulous pool and gardens

Review: I have nothing negative to say about this place. The rooms are huge and very well kept. Great aircon, hot water, wi-fi. Even the food they served were fantastic. If anything, the location was slightly further from the main dive entry points, but that's only a 5-minute walk difference...hardly an issue. Would definitely stay here again if i visit Tulamben in the future. And they are building a new building to house their dive center and restaurant, so it could only get better from here!

Review: I stayed here for one night in May 2015 with my sister.nnWe found it to be a great value for a diving/snorkeling trip to Tulamben. The rooms are fairly basic, but comfortable, clean, and functional. The pool is quite nice and underutilized. The hotel is close enough to the Liberty shipwreck to walk.nnThe three surprising highlights were the Sichuan Chinese food, wifi, and view from the restaurant. The owner is from Sichuan province in China, so this turns out to be a great place to get some great Chinese food. The wifi was also very fast, and the view from the restaurant over the ocean is beautiful.nnI wouldn't plan a romantic getaway here, but for an economical diving/snorkeling trip in Tulamben, this is an excellent choice.

Review: Everything started well, they allow guests to stay past 12 so I had to wait for the room to be cleaned which was fine. The room itself is great, the bathroom had a huge leak, the roof was so rotten bits of mildewed wood were falling on the floor. I alerted the manager to this on the second day, their attitude was just casual and unconcerned. I should have demanded a change in room, a discount or a free massage, but at that stage was willing to let it go. Then on check out, I was overcharged for breakfast (BTW breakfast is included but they just plonk a menu in front of you with prices and don't tell you what's included), and charged for water. No complimentary water in the room! This would have been fine as I don't like using lots of plastic bottle but the don't tell you! There's no information in the room that you can fill up from the water in the restaurant. Place and restaurant is very much geared to Chinese/Taiwanese/Asian. I would not stay here again nor recommend. if you book, check the room thoroughly. Stay at Liberty or Tulamben Wreck Divers for the same amount.

Review: the sign for this hotel says Puri Wirata in the west end of Tulamben -there is one in Amed as well. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and steady. The room was clean and newly appointed including a fridge. Wifi was reliable. The included breakfast was average and as there was mixed messages about whether or not was free with room. The cleaning staff were friendly but that was not universally true. The pool was deep with great sunning beds. There is a spa at the back. As experienced divers on our own this place was right on the main road with fairly good access for getting tanks and to the beach independently. If you are diving they are set up for transpo down to the beach. but other places would be better if you're looking for direct beach access.

Review: I was there to explore the dive sites. Great stay, dive resort is just nearby. Large room in front of a small swimming pool, but good enough to relax. Do take note that there is no money changer in that Tulamben area and hotel does not accept USD.

Review: Very interesting. We learnt about d culture and we lucky to witness the 2 anniversary ceremony of d resort. Beach, shops and restaurants were within walking distance. Pick up for dives were on schedule. The return drive from d airport to the resort was easily arranged by d resort at reasonable price. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Review: It waw our first time in the area, transport arrangement was excellent even though the arrival time was 5am. It was a safe journey of 2.5 hours from airport to Resort. Staff was on hand to greet us and check us in immediately because we were very tired. Arrangement and pick up for dive which was a away from the resort was efficiently arranged on immediate arrival. Breakfast was simple and practical and the SPA was excellent and reasonably priced. Our timing of stay was good as we witness the anniversary celebration of the resort, wherein we got to see the culture,bali instument and music, prayers and offerings.
