Review:
Insects, especially ants problem and mouldy smell while entering the room.
Need some work done to bring it up to 4 or 5 star.
Review: The hotel is a scam. This property was sold 2 years ago and split into two properties. When you book this property you are booking 10 rooms in an old, run down, mouldy room with 2 staff to run the whole place. The photos are not of the place you are booking. Beware!!
Review: I am writing this to warn other travellers. The resort is no longer called Puri Sunia and does not show on google maps. It has been sold I am guessing at least a few years ago. I work in the hotel industry and it seems like the owners have no interest other than milking the good reputation of the previous owners. The photos are like me posting 18yr pics on my tinder when i am 48. Yes the hotel used to look like that. But that was a long time ago and the hotel is very run down aesthetically and lacking basic maintenance. The rooms are dirty and linen and towels should have been replaced a long time ago. Wifi is v.slow. Service is poor and the hotel manager is powerless. We had a deluxe room and the hotel must have been lovely in the past, but now its a definite avoid. Agoda please warn the owners to either update their photos or preferably bar this listing as this is very false advertising. Check google for recent reviews there are some very disgruntled clients out there.. do your research before you book
Review: The hotel was probably once really beautiful and luxurious but now requires a lot of renovation. I think it needs to shut down for sometime to renovate properly before opening its doors again
Review: The resort name changed since covid and the whole resort felt like a ghost town. First of all the staff spoke zero English and looked like underaged children off the streets. The room was infested with pests and bugs and dead bugs on the bed linen. The restaurant was empty- not just guests but no tables, deco and etc. Shocking!

Review: Place is quite far from ubud centre. Need transport to travel around, nothing in walkable distance. Breakfast was quite nice, room’s window abit worn. Needs to be refurnish and renovate to look better. Staff are very attentive too.

Review:
I stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2020.
Pros: in the midst of nature, polite staff, good service, decent number of shuttles to main Ubud center.
Cons: a little secluded, nothing much around in walkable distance, breakfast options could be better, swimming pool could be more clean
Value for money: just about ok, certainly there is room for improvement in terms of pricing.
