Review:
Cô chú Chủ thân thiện.
Bữa sáng tuyệt vời!
Positive points: Really special property made entirely out of bamboo in the middle of Sa Dec flower village. You’re surrounded by family plant/flower nurseries all around. The rooms are clean and very interesting looking. The property managers don’t speak any English but they are very nice and went out of their way to help me with anything I needed even though I also spoke no Vietnamese. They are incredibly kind. When I arrived by FUTA bus and couldn’t figure out how to get there, they coordinated for the local small bus service to drop me off and then one of the managers picked me up the rest of the way by motorbike. When I wanted to go into town/explore, they set me up with a bike for rent (50,000 VND. You can also rent a motorbike for 100,000 VND) because there is no Taxi/Grab easily available. The next day, I wanted to see Dong Thap. But again, it is quite far/the hotel is pretty remote so I needed a ride. It took a bit of calls with the owner/Google Translating with the manager, but they were able to set me up with a taxi in a nice clean car that took me around for the day. The room has a fan and is very cozy.
Negative points: If you want to be out in nature with little access to much (but there is internet/Wifi!), then this is a great spot. If you want to explore Sa Dec, and especially Dong Thap, and don’t have your own car/motorbike it is a bit difficult. I ended up loving the bike ride through Sa Dec over the bridge to the Huynh Thuy Le ancient house but it was about a 30-45 minute ride. And while it was great to get a taxi, it cost 385,000 VND each way to get to the Lotus Pagoda and back. I loved my stay and they tried to help me as much as possible. But if you’re looking to explore, I’d plan rides ahead of time.
Review: Minimum facility for living at this homestay & has the mosquito. However, it was a right choice to stay during Flower Festival at Sa Dec city.
Positive points: The Bambou property is an absolute recommendation, we liked the tranquility, the overall relaxing atmosphere and especially the kindness of mr, Phong and his wife. The natural pool, the possibility to fish and help at the nearby farm made it an unforgettable experience on our trip.
Review:
The owners are so nice. They re supportive and funny.
The facility is good enough for you to stay and enjoy the environment.
The location is the best, you will be in central of the Sa Dec Flower village.
Positive points: Excellent accommodation! We loved the bungalows. It's peaceful and very quiet. The owners are very friendly and helped us catching the bus to Saigon.
Review: a bit rough, but nice for a night
Positive points: I stayed at Phong Le Vent before the Covid-19 and had a chance to come back this time. This particular homestay provides me a homy feeling with delicious food and warm hospitality.
Review: Good
Positive points: food exceeded our expectations in terms of taste, We left Maison en Bambou Phong feeling completely satisfied and would highly recommend it for a unique experience, particularly if you're open to trying new things and are not seeking a luxurious setting.
Negative points: The location marked on the map appears to be inaccurate. I suggest searching for the specific name of the place on the map to pinpoint its correct location. This will ensure accurate navigation and a better understanding of the area.
Review: This is a really outstanding locarion for people who want to relax in an typical Vietnamese environment between lovely ponds and flowers all over.
Positive points: The hosts are so kind and helpful, the place is simply magical, in the middle of the flower village. Mr Phong got me a bicycle on the first day, and on the last way took me to the bus to reach my next destination and waited with me. The wife cooked me delicious meals every day at lunch and dinner and looked after me with so much care. The facilities are basic but clean and sleeping in the bamboo and straw hut is part of the charme!
Review: The space is rich in the essence of the Mekong Delta: rivers, greenery, and gardens, perfect for those who love nature and families with children who wish to experience rural life. In the morning, you can swim in the river, paddle kayak (the dock is right by each room), in the afternoon, fish or cycle around the village roads (since it's right in the flower village of Sa Dec, flowers and trees are everywhere, with cool bamboo groves and fresh, breezy air). It's suitable for both relaxation and fun. Temporarily distancing from technology to embrace the garden life, there’s no TV or refrigerator, just the breeze, the water's waves, and the laughter of family gatherings.
Positive points: beautiful and peaceful, rustic yes, but with everything you need. very clean.
Review:
Pros: Nice settings and backgrounds. Free small boát for your fun. Nice homecooked dishes for breakfasts.
Cons: No hot water and no AC in the rooms. Everything is just basic. There were some mosquitoes (mosquito net provided for your good sleep though).
Positive points:
Location, homestay locates in centre of flower village, typical country side of Mekong Delta.
Homestay owners are extremely friendly.
