Orchid Garden Homestay Can Tho

Review: The owner and staff are cute, flexible, and very supportive. When traveling far, the biggest concern is security, and here, the security is very good.

Positive points: This hotel was a great little place to stay in Can Tho for our one night in the Mekong Delta! Our bus had dropped us at the wrong address which was about a mile from the Orchid Homestay. We called the hotel to confirm the address, decided to walk, and as we began making our way the hotel owner found us on the street and drove us to the hotel! The room was clean and had air conditioning and private bath. The common balcony area was a lovely place to hang out. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Review: This is my first time in Can Tho, and Agoda only found this home near the airport after searching for a long time. The home is very old, the amenities are terrible, and it's quite far from the airport. The price is not cheap. When I asked if the address is correct, they said yes, but when I booked a Grab to get there, it was almost 9 PM. Grab rides in Can Tho are too expensive compared to other places for a distance of 6 km, it costs 120,000 VND, which is too much. If anyone just intends to stay overnight, there are motels right outside the airport. I ended up taking a taxi and didn’t want to get out anymore. The sink is right next to the toilet, the mirror is in one place, the sink is in another, and the water faucet was dripping straight onto my feet while I washed my face. The air conditioner is old, and the fan is too high I had to stand on a chair just to reach it.

Positive points: Albeit on a very busy and noisy street, the rooftop cafe on the top floor is a nice touch (even though I never found anyone there that I could place an order for even a coffee). You can come there to get some fresh air, because there isn't any in the room.

Review: The accommodation is quite old, with many damp walls and poor ventilation in the bathroom. The pillow had a slight smell, but the hotel changed it for a cleaner one. The staff is good and friendly.

Review: Located on the crowded street, so there's a lot going on around. Hostel is clean and beautiful with flowers, and orchids pot everywhere. There's a open rooftop with a view of the city. My bed is comfy. And I paid little for a good service.

Review: Pick this hostel randomly from the list, my instinct didn't let me down. Good food at the hostel restaurant, and cheap too.

Review: Location was not ideal but the friendly host and the food downstair make up for the most of it. Clean, cozy, and affordable.
