Review: Okra Homestay in Hoi An is just a few minutes from the city center, making it the perfect choice for those seeking a quieter stay away from the crowds. The homestay offers free bicycles for exploring the area, complimentary coffee/tea, and snacks, as well as an express laundry service.
The staff are incredibly accommodating. I especially want to thank the receptionist (I think her name was Lynn) for her invaluable assistance in planning my itinerary, suggesting excellent dining options, and helping me with all my last-minute travel arrangements and activities.
A big bonus is the presence of the sweetest hosts, Marko and Sam (their adorable dog!), who graciously accompanied me during a chilly rainy evening, creating a cozy atmosphere while we listened to soothing music in the reception area.
I 💯 recommend Okra Homestay for solo travelers!

Positive points: The staff was very welcoming. They helped me book my train to Hue and the shuttle to Da Nang. The free bikes to go to the beach, or old town, or the rice paddies were very convenient. Excellent place to stay away from the busy streets. There were also 3 cute dogs chilling by the reception all day.

Positive points: Everything was just so good calm serene , everyone so helpful..I loved it.
It was clean and beautiful with a soul..unlike hostels like in hanoi and hochimin

Review: The homestay is charming and cozy, with a pleasant atmosphere. The room is relatively clean and comfortable.

However, the location is a bit far from the old city. While they do offer free bicycles, the ride to the main attractions in the old city isn’t the most enjoyable and involves crossing a fairly busy intersection, so it’s something to keep in mind.

On the plus side, there’s a lovely café nearby, and at the entrance of the homestay, there’s a large table with complimentary coffee and cookies, which makes it a nice spot to relax

Review: I really had an amazing stay in Okra Homestay. They have free coffee, tea, biscuit and water plus they will let you use thier bike for free. The room was big with a hot shower and a good ac. It was quite aesthetic setup. Staff were also accommodating and helpful. Recommends a lot of coffee shop and resto’s. Thank you so much.

Positive points: Very peaceful and nice location with friendly staff. The house is lovely! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a bit place to stay which is a bit outside the old town.
