Review: Nice staff, comfy beds. Was quiet while I stayed so not very social but I enjoyed it and slept well.

Positive points: The team is very friendy and helpful. They had the Motorbikes that are perfect for the loop ( those which 80 % of the locals ride) and they didn't give us the feeling that we had to join a tour to do so. They just gave us the right tips. Also they helpdesk us to organise the transfer to Cat Ba. Thank you so much!

We loved our stay at Odyssey hostel. Tge room is spacious and super clean and tge staff is friendly and make sure we felt at home.

Review: The staff here are so lovely and helpful and the motorbike rental was reasonably priced with good quality bikes and safety equipment. The beds were comfy and the range at breakfast was good. The floorboards were a bit squeaky so you could hear people walking around and thw walls were quite thin but it wasn't a big issue. Only 3 beds in the dorm which was great

Review: Everything was perfect but the wall between room was too thin so I got waken up every morning by the noice from other room. Also, I fell from the second floor to the first floor. There was a sky well that doesn’t have a terrace, one night the hostel was out of electricity and I can’t see the way clearly, I fell from the second floor to the first floor. Luckily I was okay, just got some bruises.

Positive points: The private room is very spacious, and I was very happy with the 4D3N HGL trip: Excellent and safe easy driver, small group (7 participants).

Review: The rooms in front are very noisy. Not worth it if you want to have a good night rest. Would not recommend.

Positive points: Good location and nice stuff. But staff was lying to me about driver license and police checks during the Ha Giang loop. My international driver license was expired and I asked if that’s an problem if I get stopped by the police. But they told me that SO FAR NEVER ANY OF THEIR GUESTS WAS FINED BY THE POLICE - which is obviously a lie. During my trip everybody got checked by the police and fined.
Recommend the hostel but wish the staff is more honest.

Review: The room was made out of wood and you can literally hear every single thing from outside and downstairs. The free breakfast was decent. I'm sorry, but I won't return.

The trip was very well organised, lovely amazing team running the whole trip. The hostels we stayed in were great and the food was always amazing! Even the veg :)
Every evening was filled with laughter and fun drinks with the drivers! It was a very authentic experience, I enjoyed every day. I wish I could have done more than 4 days.
I chose the self drive option and ended up making it. The trip was challenging and not for the faint hearted, I would only recommend if you are really confident! There were also a lot of police checkpoints but the team helped me get through them!

Review: Honestly the staff here are soo good. We planned to do ha giang loop ourselves and the helped us plan it properly. Without them we would have gone a dangerous route. Didn’t use the pool as it was cold. The room was great value for money

Positive points: Perfect stay if you're planning to do the Ha Giang Loop. The room is nice and very clean and the beds are very comfortable.

Review: The place is new, the room is clean, hot water running all day. It’s also located in near promixity with many recommended diners and restaurants. Ha Giang main bus station is also within walkable distance, meaning when you transit from Hanoi to Ha Giang city, you don’t even have to call a taxi, just walk about 5 min and you will arrive at Odyssey. Total convinience! Plus, the owner at Odyssey have motorbikes for rent, and their motorbikes are very well maintained and look spankingly new. I’ve rented a Honda Blade Semi-Automatic, driving all the way to Lung Cu and back, total travel distance was approximately 500km-ish, and it was a pleasant driving, not to mention the bike was very fuel efficient, consider all the road conditions I drove through. Totally recommend if you want a smooth experience staying in Ha Giang city.

Positive points: Comfortable stay. Equipped to help you start the Ha Giang loop. Rent bikes etc and book buses etc. Comfortable bed and good shower in private room. Breakfast was made available for us slightly early to allow us to make our bus on time - much appreciated. Friendly & helpful staff.
