Review: The family are very friendly and welcoming.nAbout 10 minute drive outside the centre. Basic room with A/C, fan and desk. Shared bathroom is ok.nThere are a few friendly dogs as welln.

Positive points: This homestay became a place I’d love to return to. If I ever pass by again, I’d definitely stay here. Even though we arrived late, we were warmly welcomed — it really felt like coming home. It's not just the place that makes it special, but the people. The owners are a lovely and kind family. Staying with them felt warm, cozy, and truly comfortable. Thank you for such a heartfelt experience!

Positive points: Nam and his family and friends are so welcoming. They invited me to join their new years celebrations which was great fun. They're a very nice community and the food was amazing

Review: We arrived very late and in the rain after riding our motorcycles from the Northern Highlands. nnWe only booked one Room by accident, but wanted two. The owner/manager didn't have two available. So he took us around the corner to a partner hotel, in the rain, and then helped us with our bags and translations with the hotel manager. nnIt's hard to find help like that anywhere in the world, nowadays.

Positive points: Our room was comfortable and clean. Nam was such a kind host, inviting us to his home to meet his family and cuddle the newborn puppies. We went out for a beer and had a good chat. Yet we were able to get back to the room quite early in order to rest. If we're in the area again, we will come back!

Review: The host is very friendly, giving a familiar feeling like being at home, and there is free drinking water. Detailed guidance is provided when needed about tourist destinations in Thai Nguyen.

Positive points: This is a REAL homestay, you are given the opportunity to see how a typical middle class Vietnamese family lives.nChildren coming back from school, tea break, cooking and eating together, and ask questions because Nam, your host, has a very good English!nMost homestays are reduced to hello, thank you, goodbye unfortunately because their English isn't so good, I really appreciated this opportunity.nnNam is also a motorcyclist regularly exploring the North and can help you plan your travel, places to see, beautiful roads to take, other homestays recommandation... nnYour (private) room has a fan and AirCon/heater combo, a shared shower-toilet combo for the night accessible to guests, before night they let you use their shower.

Review: We stayed here to break up our trip from Ba Be Lake to Halong Bay. There is not much exciting to see in this area just a good stop-over. The hard working family was not there to check us in as they were at work but they left us the keys and breakfast in the morning. :)

Positive points: Nam and his wife were lovely hosts. Had a very pleasant evening.

Review: We only stayed 1 night, but after a long day of driving it was really nice to feel that much welcomed.nNam and his family are super friendly, they invited us for dinner in the evening and it was lovely. They even made the extra effort to buy some tofu as we are vegetarians ! There were a few other travelers that night and we spend a really nice evening. Don't hesitate to spend a few nights there on your way up to Ba Be or your way down to Hanoi !

Review: Nam and his family are so kind and inviting! His English skills are really great also. The room is basic, but it's cheap for a reason. This is the type of place you want to be out of your room conversing with Nam and learning about Vietnamese culture.
