Mango Moon Guesthouse

Review: We spent a few lovely days at Mango Moon. The entire staff is very friendly and makes us feel at home. The breakfast they prepare is delicious and abundant. We spent Nyepi here and it was great, as they offered us breakfast, we had hot and cold water available, and we were also able to use the swimming pool.
For sure we'll come back if we are in pemuteran again. ☺️

Positive points: Lovely, picturesque homestay, away from the main road, but close enough to the shops, cafes and main Pemuteran Beach.

My room was light, bright and cool with a fan, aircon and mosquito net. Appreciated a wardrobe to hang my clothes, shelves for my bits and pieces, and chair and table. Bonus points for bedside tables and lamps.

The bathroom is outside, which some people love and others not so much. I liked it for the aesthetics, but my aversion to mosquitos meant that I used it as little as possible.

It was easy to arrange a snorkelling expedition with the host, Kadek (who also runs a dive shop). The snorkelling was both a lowlight and a highlight. Lowlight due to the chronic amount of rubbish at snorkelling site 1 around Menjangan Island. Highlight due to the relatively clean and absolutely incredible marine life at site 2 around the underwater caves on the other side of Menjangen.

I'm gluten intolerant so there was limited choice for me to eat on site. However I appreciated the bottomless cups of coffee, fresh fruit plates and eggs for breakfast.

I really appreciated the use of one of the bicycles for getting around Pemuteran. Highly recommend Mango Moon.

Review: The place looked nice enough, but the room they gave me was the Budget room and not the Standard room I had reserved and paid for. The Budget room is sub par, really, without hot water and it is very small.
The manager claimed that this is Agoda's fault and I actually do not have reasons not to believe him.
He was nice enough to compensate me (but only for the price of the Budget room - though, to be fair, if it is indeed Agoda's fault he doesn't have to do more than that). However, I had to spend my evening searching for another place.
I am really sorry if this review does not do justice to the accomodation, but I didn't have a great experience and unfortunately I can't recommend it.

Positive points: The staff was great and always attentive! The pool is beautiful and vary well kept. The rooms are practical and clean. The outside bathroom is awesome, but could use a little work. Overall a great stay!

Positive points: A peaceful and well-maintained accommodation with friendly staff, tasty breakfast and multiple facilities to relax outside in either the sun or shadow. The value for money is outstanding.

Review: Wonderful staff, lovely rooms, beautiful setting in a well-kept pretty garden. Good stopping point with easy access to Bali Barat National Park for treks and Menjangan Island snorkeling/diving. Excellent value for money.

Positive points: The staff were amazing. We feel so welcomed and they helped us a lot during our stay. Also, it’s such a good value for the money, very cheap but already included with breakfast which was delicious. They also have a pool where you can relax and we also asked for massage there.

Review: We had roadtrip by motorcycle from west java. As in long trip we need rest, grateful for Mango Moon guest house, they gave us hot tea while we arrived at night. Really nice breakfast, nice swimming pool too. Thank u 🙏

Review: Chúng tôi rất thích Nhà nghỉ này!!! Nó thật sự dễ chịu và đẹp với đội ngũ nhân viên thân thiện và một người quản lý rất tốt bụng. Tôi khuyên bạn nên ở lại hơn vài đêm vì bạn sẽ không muốn rời đi. Bungalow có giá trị tuyệt vời, với một khu vực tắm ngoài trời lớn bao quanh bởi những cây cối đẹp. Bể bơi thật hoàn hảo với nhiều ghế tắm nắng và bánh kếp cùng nước trái cây cho bữa sáng thì thật ngon miệng! Chỉ mất 10 phút đi bộ chậm rãi đến bãi biển và ngay cạnh con đường chính cho các cửa hàng và nhà hàng. Đây là chỗ ở có giá trị tốt nhất mà chúng tôi đã ở và cũng là nơi thư giãn nhất ở Đông Nam Á cho đến nay!

Điều bất tiện duy nhất là các bài học lặn xảy ra trong bể bơi vào buổi sáng đã khiến chúng tôi cảm thấy không thể sử dụng hoặc hoàn toàn thư giãn cho đến khi họ rời đi. Mọi thứ khác thì hoàn hảo.
