Positive points: First off, Gia Nghia is off the tourist track and a bit obscure. I decided to stay in town as it made sense with regard to a good place on the map to stop after my first day driving the Ho Chi Minh Road. The town is so much more than just a stop of point. It’s a beautiful, quaint, very authentic Vietnamese town in the central highlands and deserves serious consideration. I’ve loved my time here! As for Ly’s Homestay, it may have been the single best homestay experience I’ve had anywhere in the world. Ly, Vu, and family are the most wonderful family you’ll ever meet. I had an opportunity to share a meal with them, and it was one I’ll never forget. Vu always has a smile on his face and will treat you like a member of his own family. My room was HUGE, spotless, and clean. The window looks out on a nice little garden, and the house is located up on the hill and a little out of town (a 20 minute walk). A stay with this family is one well worth it. Fantastic all around!
Positive points: This is an adorable and clean homestay in a convenient location. Tons of cafes and scrumptious street food within walking distance. The rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds. The outside is decorated with beautiful lights and plants. Very Instagramy :)nnInitially, I had some concerns traveling around Dak Nong with very limited Vietnamese. However, the homestay onwer was very accommodating which quickly erased my worries. He helped me communicate with my bus driver and even dropped me off at the pickup location. He speaks great English and gave me helpful suggestions. He even told me that he started his homestay business to increase tourism to this underated and beautiful province and improve his English. Staying here was one of my favorite experiences in Vietnam. nnAdditionally, the homestay rents manual motorbike for 100k per day. I really enjoyed the ride to Ta Dung National Park. I can't wait to return to Gia Nghia and stay at Ly's Homestay again.
Positive points: It was easy to rent a motorbike, because the owner of the homestay just rented hers for 100k/Day. nBefore we left, there was an older man who speaks English and he was helpful, but he was the only one.
Negative points: When we arrive the staff did not even speak a single word in English. And she did not know how to use google translate.nThe room was not clean, there were hairs on the floor and even on the toilet.nThere is still no A/C in the room. You can not close the windows properly, so you have to bring your own mosaito net.nThe next morning someone opened our locked door at 8 am and wanted to come in!!nWe did not feel welcome at this homestay, they are not interessted in their guests, they just see the money.

Positive points: Mình đến Gia Nghĩa vào tối muộn. Trên đường đi vội vàng tìm chỗ nghỉ thì may mắn vẫn còn phòng. Mình thích khu vườn nhỏ cạnh cửa sổ. Sáng nghe chim líu lo. Phòng sạch sẽ và đủ tiện nghi. Anh chị chủ nhà thoải mái và rất nhiệt tình. Không gian ấm cúng như ở nhà. Gần đó cũng có nhiều quán ăn ngon. Rất thích.Hẹn gặp lại lần sau

Positive points: Mình book sát giờ giúp ba mẹ và nhóm bạn đi chơi nhưng may mắn vẫn còn phòng, giá cả phải chăng, dịch vụ đầy đủ, vô tình gặp host người đồng hương nên đoàn cũng rất thoải mái vui vẻ
Negative points: Chung quy thì ổn, ko quá xịn xò nhưng phù hợp với mức giá rồi

Review: Khu vườn đẹp, chủ nhà thân thiện nói tiếng Anh, làng xinh xắn, phòng và khu sinh hoạt sạch sẽ và dễ thương. Chỉ có một vấn đề với chúng tôi, rất nhiều tiếng ồn từ 5 giờ sáng do karaoke và trận bóng đá bên cạnh, không thể ngủ được nữa 🥲

Review: Tôi ước mình có thể ở lại lâu hơn một đêm, vì nơi này tốt hơn rất nhiều so với những chỗ mà tôi đã tìm thấy dọc đường. Gia đình thật tuyệt và thân thiện, phòng ngủ thì tuyệt vời và khu vực này là khu dân cư yên tĩnh nhưng gần các con phố chính.
