Review: The place is just amazing. A haven for those in love with total immersive retreat
Positive points: The most feeling during my stay is còmfortable and relaxed. I especially send my thankyou to the Yoga and Zen master Hải Hằng for her exciting and helpful sessions.
Negative points: It would be better if the Phoenix head is not set up for decoration over the window of the WC. Maybe there are different ideas, visions.... but in my opinion, I think it is a noble sign and worth being put in another places other than that area (check the Room 122 for that setup). Best regards.
Review: Group that want to stay in a serene environment, away and hidden from the city should choose this place. The staff are nice and friendly, as i said location of Yen Tu is far far away from the center of Hai Phong though.
Positive points:
First. The location is great, and the room was perfect.
The whole location has a nice calm vibe, a bit of a pseudo spiritual retreat thing going on. Which is fine.
The wellness center and the staff there was welcoming and charming.
The breakfast buffet had a decent choice and overall quality.
Negative points:
Quite a few things bugged me. I understand it's TET, but a place like this should hold to its standards. Most of the time, you did not feel welcomed, and the staff gave vague and misleading answers to simple questions. We tried to take part in a meditation session. Booking anything was unnecessarily difficult. We spent half a day trying to book the session. The reception kept telling us to use the QR system, which didn’t work properly. When they finally booked it for us, they only offered a 7 AM slot, claiming it was the only available option. We later discovered there were other sessions, but no one had bothered to tell us. To make it worse, we were led to a yoga class.. We expected a relaxing seated session and instead ended up in a yoga class—unprepared, dressed in unsuitable clothes, and completely misled.
Then the restaurant. Again, I understand it was TET, but damn it was not tasty. The Beijing dish was just overcooked noodles with tomato sauce. Maybe I'm missing here something. In addition, a lot of the other menu items which we tried to order weren't available. Real dishes differed from the images greatly.
Review: Everything is amazing especially the Bell Meditation session by Ms. Hang, very mindful, peaceful and we listen to new knowledge about meditation bells !

Review: Everything is ok except receptionist is not very helpful, they're confused with basic support for example taxi and sense of discrimination between foreigners and local customers (vietnamese)

Pros: Extremely professional hotel, beautiful, unique, and different from other places. Very quiet and extremely private. The surrounding scenery and the bedroom are very beautiful, with high-end amenities, the heating is very warm, and the design has a unique touch. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic, gentle, and lovely. Tho Quang restaurant serves delicious and generous meals.
Cons: Isolated and extremely quiet, so it's only suitable for relaxation, meditation, and healing. The evenings can be quite eerie, so it's not advisable to go alone.
Positive points: The architecture is impressive, which depicts the beauty of the charm and magnificence of Tran dynasty’s palace, with European touch in terms of internal decors and the choice of colours. Attention is paid to every single detail. The ambiance is conducive to imagination and creativity. Each corner has a story to tell
Negative points: Zero
Review:
The restaurant staff didn’t replace the dirty utensils on the table. They were noisy and not as professional as 5-star resort staff should be.
When I checked out, the front desk staff was okay with everything. They didn’t mention any services that I should have been charged for. However, one day later, I was charged an amount without any reason or notice.
There’s only one restaurant there. The morning buffet was so so, I can recognize that they used the old meat for Banh Mì from the day before. The Bun Ca’s broth tastes like tomato soup which I can make it better at home. Nothing’s special.
Positive points: The design/architecture is meticulously beautiful.
Negative points: There should be more options for food/restaurants

Negative points: The only small thing I could think of was the lack of flip-flops to go and return from the pool.
Review: What a well kept secret. This amazing medieval looking resort hotel nestled on the foothills of the Yen Tu mountains is a hidden gem.
Positive points:
very unique experience
1) you really feel like staying in a pagoda in the mountain, minus out the bugs
2) there are meditation class (45mins), the teacher is young and very nice lady, talk softly and kindly
3) i would recommend to stay for 1 night
4) best ever breakfast
Negative points: Nothing
Positive points: Everything was very nice and peaceful
Negative points: Far away from everything so not much options for foods
