Kubu Yang Cottage

Review: My husband and I spent five days on Nusa Penida and were grateful to have that calm and lovely refuge on a very busy island as it was in July and main saison. Some people complained in their reviews to be far from everything, but even if you don't ride a scooter you are in just 10 minutes walk down at the beach, restaurants, food court or supermarkets, so I don't understand what is their problem. Maadi and Endra and all the family are just amazing we got lucky to arrive on a day for Anggara Kasih, were warmly invited to join them for the ceremony in the temple, and got a real impression far from all the tourist mainstream. The bungalows are sparkling clean, spacious and really lovely furnished and the mattress comfortable. There is a fridge at the reception, a kettle, tea and coffee in the room and on top of that we were spoiled with fresh fruits . If you want tours or taxis you can organize with the family. There is really nothing we missed and would stay certainly again if we'd came back to the island.

Positive points: The family is just amazing - kind, helpful and really involved. nThe cottages are spacious, very clean and cleaning was done daily. nThe breakfast was tasty and you have 4 options to choose from. nI wish more people would stay there because our stay was the best in the Bali area.

Positive points: Everything! The hosts were super kind, they even made the cottages themselves entirely, from the cottage to everything in it and it was so comfortable. Breakfast was great, the room was clean. It was super quiet, you could rent a scooter to get around the island.. I would definitely recommend staying here.
