Kenting Light Blue Bed and Breakfast

Positive points: The facilities were scrupulously clean and comfortable, but what I liked best about the place was David, the manager. I came alone and don’t speak any Mandarin so I needed some help. He stepped in and made my stay fun and interesting by helping me navigate where to go, how to get there and where to eat. If you are coming to Kenting country, consider staying at Light Blue Hostel… you will be glad you did!

Review: The manager had modified my room(to the next of their property, upgrade) as same price. The hotel is easy to access to the all local restaurants, PX-Mart, and main route to N/S. I recommend this hotel!

Positive points: The location was quiet, almost no traffic noise, especially if the room is facing the back. Thanks to that and the weather, it’s a real respite from noisy polluted city.rnrnComparing with the photos, it looks like I stayed in a new extension to the building, and the room I got was recently renovated (not exactly like what I expected from photos, but better). It was very comfortable overall. The showerhead was high enough for my height.rnrnWithin walking distance there are Starbucks and McDonalds, though they are not 24/7. There is a Family Mart really close. South gate (which I think is town center, and also where you get off the bus from Zuoying) is reachable on foot and has nice cafes and an excellent coffeeshop.

Review: + spacious room with a lot of shelves and coat hanger (which we miss in most of the accommodations)n+ Clean bathroom, sheets and towelsn+ Friendly and supportive ownernn- The AC smelled pretty bad, we never used itn- Location is ok, but have to walk to everything important (bus terminal, night market, etc) for like 10-15minsn- At one night, other guests were pretty loud for long, and since the water dispenser is directly infront of the room, many talking people are crossing. The isolation is sadly poor.

Review: We got a free upgrade for our room which was great. It had a swimming Pool, a gym, pool table etcnDavid, the owner, was very helpufl and gave us lots of advise during our stay. nOverall a very, very nice stay :)

Review: This is really nice, we got a free update to a bigger room and the room was huge. There is a free washing machine and refrigerator that you can use. The owner is really helpful and texts back within seconds. Can't think of anything that was not good here. To upgrade the place, I suggest a kitchen so you can make breakfast there. Overall, really good!

Review: There is not much to do in Hengchun. I recommend staying in Kenting instead.
