Review: I texted a day before at their wA number, but theres no respond at all. Tried again on the day we checked in, but still no reply, after checked in we went out and back to hotel at 11pm, and theres no water supply, tried to call and looking for staff at reception desk, no one there.. was supposed to stay there for 2 nights, I asked for a refund, they only gave less than 65% refund for the night we had left. Terrible.
Positive points: The view and location Really great. Would go back. Difficult to find and rocky path way. If you have bags, definitely pay to get them taken down for you. Luckily we just had back packs. A fun adventure. Staff are lovely.
Negative points: Finding it was a bit difficult. Rooms were a little damp.
Review: The deluxe room is in the restaurant, so you have to keep curtains closed the whole time. Power cuts - which is fine, but not when you have no natural light or you want the bar to have fullnView of your room.
Positive points: Awesome location. Good coffee. Beautiful breakfast.magic common area with unreal views
Negative points: Awesome location. but not for an older person or an unfit person. Could actually cause some serious damage on those uneven stairs or worse. If you have bad eyesight or balance or knees don’t stay here.
Review: Place place with breathing view. So much steps but worth it.
Negative points: The property is located very far from the car park, and we need to walk 15 minutes staircase when going in/out. The car park is charged 10k, there is cliff house hotel staff waiting near the car park, we thought they are helping us to carry luggage but they didn't mention it is charged 50k IDR, after we questioned the reception, they told us its stated in the description online. this is the first time staying here and we will never come back again. very inconvenience as a tourist.
Review: I had read a lot of mediocre reviews on this place… however this place was exceptional. The view was closely situated in front of Bingin beach. There is a hammock and outdoor furniture to enjoy while taking in the view. The room was clean and well equipped. The issue people mention about stairs applies for access to all of Bingin beach accomodations. It’s not a problem and people who complain should reconsider staying at the beach. Most beaches in Uluwatu are at the bottom of cliffs… so expect walking…down stairs/paths leading down. Pack light, or I believe you can pay to have your luggage lifted down. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Thanks so much.
Positive points: This is such a peaceful little hotel. It's small, and quiet except for the sound of the waves. The espresso from the kitchen is soooo good. I would've been happy spending my whole trip drinking coffee and staring at the view here, but the temptation to go explore other beaches was too hard to resist. Bingin, where the hotel is, ended up being my favorite though: the cliffside restaurants and little strip of sand are laid back and the sunset can't be beat.
Negative points: As everyone else has mentioned, the stairs to the road are a challenge. You have to consider that every time you want to go somewhere outside of Bingin beach, you have to hoof it up the cliff and will be a sweaty mess by the time you reach the top.
Review: Very poor quality. No resturant. Stuffy room. Walked through a building sute to get to the accommodation.
Positive points: Wonderful staff who do their very best to help you. We had some problems with the door and they did everything they could to fix it. Amazing views of the beach. Has good places to eat nearby. Comfiest bed in Bali so far.
Negative points: The location is not good if you want to visit the town - having to walk up and down stairs in the rain is not appealing. However, it would be the best place to just stay for days if you had no interest in going up to the centre.
Review: Gorgeous views with the property built right at the top of a cliff. And as with cliff houses, it was quite challenging to get there. There’s about 200 steps to the property and you’ve really got to be physically fit to make it up and down daily. Salute to the staff and porters! nRoom-wise - it was real clean but we didn’t have water on our 2nd night. Didn’t have water to shower in the morning either.nOverall would recommend staying here once just for the experience of living on the edge
Positive points: The location on Bingin Beach was fantastic, great view from the open air main floor. Staff was friendly and accomodating.
Negative points: My room was somewhat of a dungeon. I did not have an ocean view room, so it was a little musty, but the A/C was great, bed was comfortable and quite.
Review: Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home away from home. The many stairs to reach it were all worth it, giving it scoping views of the beach and a secluded feel. The staff are charming and hospitable. Had the privilege of getting to know Hans, one of the staff there. From the Komodo dragon island and an avid diver, he knew lots about Indonesia. He was beyond helpful in arranging our travel plans to Nusa Lembongan and made so much effort to ensure we had a safe and enjoyable stay. Thank you Hans!! Will definitely stay here again.
Positive points: The view, the staff and the food was excellent.
Negative points: The walk back up the cliff - though it easier
Review: Our stay at this place was a big dissapointment. Nice view but thats it. Kitchen was closed for more than a month, so no breakfast. For one Coke they gave us a 40% tax! Staff dont speak English. Almost forgot to mention the terrible road to the hotel - with 23kg luggage that was no joke! Overall, we cannot recommend this place.
Positive points: The view was phenomenal
Negative points: The steps were outrageous! Very hard to go up and down, especially at night time after being out for dinner and it’s dark and the tide is in etc it is scary
Review: It’s amazing to stay here. Right infront of the Bingin Beach. But just be aware of the monkeys and there are insects. Also the way going to this Inn is with a lot of stairs 😂 but it’s worth it. There are also restaurants next to it.
Positive points: I liked the view
Negative points: It was very hard to get to. The room was not like the pictures. The staff were rude. And the communication of all the important details were not there
Review: Its a long walk down / up several stairs to access this place. It's a lovely accom with great facilities and staff but you will be covered in sweat after scaling the steep stairs to get there. Ideal if you want to stay on this beach for 1-2 days without going out to see the rest of Uluwatu. Just an access / humidity issue for me.
Positive points: + the views rn+right on the beach and quiet
Negative points: - to get here you actually have to go all the way down( 200 steps under construction). Binging beach. walk to corner of the beach And go up 2-3 floors. no way to figure it out unless you ask around rn- i got there at 5pm, the restaurant was closed. so if you are going late at night bring some snacks because otherwise you going to have walk up those 200 plus stairs to get some food. rn- the WIFI was not working the whole time being there, there is barely any cellphone signal rn-if you are older wouldn't recommend it as the steps to get there aren't really steps rn- the room relativity to the price was pretty meh
