Review: The room I've got is a 4 bed dormitory, the cleaniness of the room as well as the bathroom is average, the aircond is enabled automatically starting at 3pm, and the aircond is shared with another room, there isn't any ceiling fan in the room, you can fill up the mineral water for free. Also took their Ijen and Bromo tour package, the experience with their Ijen package didn't live up to my expectation, but it's not bad either, the included breakfast was not bad. For Bromo package, I was told to stay in the decent homestay but instead I got to stay in a very bad homestay, so I've got the feeling that I got cheated, although given the price for overall package is pretty cheap already. If one is thinking to take the Bromo package, it's recommended to find your own stay.

Positive points: Great location, just a blink of an eye to Ketapang Station, and arrange hike to Mt Ijen and other destination. Meet a lot of people there, so funn!

Review: The place is close to Ketapang Ferry Port. The staffs are friendly. They have several cute cats to play with. There is an Ijen tour package which includes everything to Mt Ijen.

Positive points: I like the cleanliness of the hostel as well as the place, its located in a very nice place. Its right beside the train station and only 5 minutes or less by walking to the port if you want to move to other islands esp Bali. Plus, I enjoyed Kawah Ijen trip, I like the breakfast as well.

Review: ProsnThe staff is nice and the breakfast was good, they gave us a plate with vegetables, pancake, eggs, samosa + one more plate of fresh fruit. I took the Ijen tour with them and it was cheap. The hostel is super close to the harbor and to the station so it's the perfect point to stay and start the trip to the Ijen volcano.nnConsnIt's not well mantained. There is mold, it's not so clean and they don't provide just a watered soap in the shower. The tour with them was ok but it's a lot of people (around 20) with 2 guides. I lost the group at some point because it's impossible to stay all together, it was still ok because there's many people going up but I haven't seen the guide for an hour. And the guides don't explain anything. Going back to the hostel itself, the common area is just a few tables. The rooms are a bit noisy because close to the street.

Positive points: Offers really great deals for people wanting to experience the Bromo and ijen tour, really worth the price and all facilities were extremely clean, and no bugs at all. The staff were really helpful as well. Also a perfect place for backpackers as it’s 2 minutes away from the property. Overall, would definitely go again for another Ijen hike. Even the tour guides they collaborated with are really nice and helpful during the guiding experience. Would 10/10 recommend.

Review: I arrived at the hostel at 1am, just to try and see if I could join the tour to Ijen volcano. The hostel staff immediately helped me contact the tour group that had already departed, and then drove me there on a motorcycle, and then I experienced a perfect volcano hiking trip! Thanks to this phone call, I joined the tour group, otherwise I might not have the chance, because I booked a flight back to China from Bali in a few days, and it happened to be NPEPI, all social activities would be stopped...So, even if I didn't stay in the hostel, I would like to thank the staff of the hostel.

Positive points: - Good location walking distance to ferry from Bali. n- nice staffn- one stop shop for organizing tours, transport,ect…(did Ijen tour and transport to Cemoro Lawang through them)

Review: It's near the train station and ferry habour. All these 2 places are within walking distance. Many places to eat too. They also provide breakfast with reasonable price. The place is clean and will maintained

Positive points: The organisation of trip, staff and our room was great. rnThe Ijen tour was great as well. rnWe really recommend the place to stay if you want to do the Ijen. After that you can do the laundry or just go further to next location. There are a lot of connections and you can get private car if needed

Review: I definitely recommend this place for budget travelers. I think, for the price, it was the best place I stayed anywhere in Java.

Positive points: I liked that they had clean room, with curtains for privacy. The bathroom was also clean. They had helpful and friendly staff. They also had cheap Ijen tour for cheap with free breakfast and helped me get the health certificate for me.
