Ibis Singapore on Bencoolen - Newly Renovated

Review: Ibis new renovation room is so good place to stay, the strategic location that near popular place like Kwan Im Temple, Bugis Street/Junction/+, Mustafa Centre, Chinatown, Orchard, Newton. There also 2 bus stop in front of Hotel, and sevel beside Hotel. Room size is spacious enough and clean. Professional and friendly staffs. Only 1 improvement suggestion from me, for double bed, better to provide big size bed rather than combine 2 single beds. Due to the family traveller like me, we use it for 3 persons, and the one, who sleep in the middle of bed, feel bit uncomfortable due to edge of 2 beds are bit hard. Thank you.

Review: Hotel has good clean rooms but no cupboard. It is near to Bugis MRT(600m) and Bencoolen MRT(400m). Connectivity from Bugis MRT is good to reach other places on time. Staff was good to give me early check in at 11am as I had morning flight. You would need to pay 100 singaporean dollar as security deposit, which would be given back at time of check out. I have not tried the food, but near by you will find options, specially toast box is a must try.

Review: Our trip to Singapore took a rough start when we checked into Hotel G.C. near Orchard, which turned out to be a complete nightmare. Desperate for a clean, comfortable, and budget-friendly place, we found Ibis Bencoolen—and it saved our entire trip! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly accommodating, especially Mr. Anwar, who personally showed us the room before we booked through Agoda (pro tip: it’s cheaper than booking onsite!). Within just 90 minutes, they had our room ready, and we were led to a spotless, well-appointed space with a huge, comfy bed—a complete game-changer after our previous experience. Despite the bathroom being a bit compact, it was impeccably clean. While there was no bidet, we managed just fine. The strong water pressure made showering a delight, and the fresh, odor-free towels were replaced daily. The room had ample space for two large and two small suitcases, a mini-fridge, an ironing board, and even a box of face napkins, which turned out to be surprisingly handy. Beyond the room, the hotel ambiance was fantastic—a spacious, fragrant lobby with a welcoming atmosphere. They required a 100 SGD deposit (cash or card), which was straightforward. The exterior was well-designed, with a covered pickup area, so we never had to worry about getting wet in the rain. And the view? A breathtaking panorama that made every moment feel even more special. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better! A 7-Eleven is right outside the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for quick snacks, drinks, or essentials anytime. The nearest train station is just a 5- to 7-minute walk away, making it easy to explore the city. And for food lovers, a fantastic 24-hour Thai restaurant is right across the street—perfect for a late-night meal after a long day of sightseeing. From start to finish, Ibis Bencoolen exceeded our expectations, proving that a great hotel can turn a trip around completely. Highly, highly recommend!
