Review: I stayed here for 2 nights, and received the warm welcome and great support from the Vietnamese family owner in everything. They gave me suggestions for eateries and attractions as well as booked a a coach bus for us to Ha Tien harbour to go to Phu Quoc island with affordable price. Btw, the view is very countryside with real rice paddle field on the back of the homestay. That’s pretty much of it, and will recommend this place to my friends.
Positive points: The location is perfect for visiting Trà Sư Cajuput Forest, and it’s also convenient for trips to Cấm Mountain or Két Mountain nearby.
Negative points: - Although the room is close to nature, it seems too hot to be inside from 7 am to 5 pm in April. - Having your own transportation would be a plus, as there aren't many shops or restaurants in the area.
Review: lovely location, they have two hammocks that you can relax on. room was basic but clean and comfortable. staff were so friendly - left my passport and they arranged it to be delivered to my next accommodation and it arrived. nice friendly people. would recommend
Positive points: The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. Was very peaceful. It was a good location to go to the floating forest. They were places to eat not far from the Homestead.
Review: Clean, close to the forest
Positive points: The homestay felt very authentic! It is very close to the Tra Su forest and there are a few restaurants and cafes available within walking distance. The host is a lovely lady and speaks English. She booked a cab for us to go to Chau Doc city, Cham villages and Nui Sam. There is plenty of space in the homestay to relax, with hammocks and wooden chair. The room and bathroom were very clean and there was Ac and hot water available.
Negative points: The nearby market and restaurants close up early, but even then you have the option to order a couple of rice dishes from the homestay.
Positive points: The property was near the Tra Su tourist attraction! It was very clean! We love that the host was very helpful and grateful for them.
Positive points: Very friendly and helpful host . Surrounded by green rice paddies, 'thốt nốt' trees and mountains.
Positive points: Next to the street, but very quite. We enjoyed the frog concert during the night. We like to sleep with open window and the super clean Moskitonetz made it possible. The Aircon we used one night worked fine. Communication via WhatsApp was flawless with our host. She helped us with ongoing travels. The staff at the resort, also not English speaking, where so sweet and google translate help with the communication.
Negative points: One thing which was missing is an outdoor hangout space facing the rice field with some comfortable seating.
Positive points: At the countryside near chau doc you’ll find this lovely place. The staff is super nice and the room is really good and clean. The location is great for going around with a motorbike to the little cities around and exploring Vietnam as it was before western tourism hit. The people here are the nicest we encountered. Highly recommended if you would like to go off the beaten path
Positive points: The hostess was extremely helpful about border crossing and spoke very good English.
Negative points: A small refrigerator would have been nice.
