Positive points: the room quite big and clean

Positive points: We stayed just for 1 night during our Ha Giang loop trip. For this purpose, it was convenient. The hostel has very simple amenities, nothing special. Nice staff clean rooms.

Positive points: It is confusing. On Booking.com there is this place "Ethnic House Junior" and also another place called "Ethnic Junior". They seem to be the same hotel. I booked Ethnic House Junior and thought that it had a private bathroom or an en-suite bathroom, but the bathroom was across the hallway/stairs. The Manager assured me that it was a private bathroom "For my use ONLY". Many different people used it from the restaurant. It had been used during the night and in the morning too and so I asked about this the next morning he said "Yes people from the reastaurant use it". So it clearly, despite what he said, isn't private, it is shared. The room itself had 2 big beds, was very comfortable and clean. I think if you book the Ethnic Junior, which is more expensive, you get the rooms with en-suite. I moved rooms after one night and paid extra for a very nice room with a view and a big en-suite bathroom. It is a good hotel and it is clean and comfortable in a very good location on a street of old buildings near the Old Town. But they should clarify the listings and make it clear that the cheap rooms at Ethnic House Junior are shared bathroom and there will be a people from the restaurnat using the bathroom.

Positive points: The guesthouse has a great location, very close to the main street. It is extremely clean, features a modern design, and offers amazing views.

Positive points: Very comfy bed and bedding

Positive points: We stayed in one of the bungalows which the owners built and designed themselves, it was extremely clean and very quiet, the owners also prepared a fantastic meal for us, it was in a very quiet rural village setting with lots of ethnic homestays, it was a very relaxing area, the owners are part of the Dao ethnic group, and we found them very interesting as well as a lovely couple, there son is also on hand to help and speaks very good English, it was a pleasure to meet the family.

Positive points: It was a very nice place and location, the room and the toilet were clean, bright and comfortable.
I need to add that the owner help me in a very critical situation, I got food poisoned very badly, and I couldn't even speak, he took me to the hospital in town and stayed with me and my girlfriend for hours helping us translating with doctors and nurses, he came back the day after checking on us, offering to stay so my girlfriend could go back to hotel and rest. Even in this awful situation I feel so lucky that this beautiful human being was there to help. Thank you.
