Positive points: This is one of my favorite places I've ever stayed, in an agricultural village next to Lake Buyan. Beautiful property, wonderful hosts, great views from the comfy room and a dining room. Beautiful interesting surroundings. I hope to stay again some day, and bring some people with me.

Positive points: Definitely the best value stay in the area. The rooms were comfortable, affordable, well-located, clean, and private. We were warmly and promptly welcomed and shown to our rooms with big smiles.
The blankets were warm enough and the beds quite comfortable.

Negative points: Unfortunately, one of the hot water boilers did not work. Also, some other guests arrived at night and stayed up all night talking loudly and drinking outside until sunrise which made it very hard to sleep. That is not the fault of the property, of course.
Aside from that it was a very good experience.

7.0 Decent room and value but not staying here again... - J 16-10-2022

Positive points: The room is decent and there was hot water, very much needed in the colder parts of Bali.

Negative points: There was no WiFi in our room. The router is located in their office across the street and did NOT reach our room. Bummer.
The guesthouse is quite far from the main street and restaurants, too far to walk so you will need to take a vehicle or motorbike to go eat out.
We arrived at night so we had no idea what the surroundings looked like in daylight. So the next morning I was woken very early by several birds screeching from their cages (Bali starling, junglefowl,...). The owners have so many caged birds and many are endangered, it's unbelievable, they really seem to be no animal lovers. And some of the birds with very loud calls have cages close to the room. If you are a light sleeper you will wake up early here, I guarantee you. If I would have known this in advance I would not stay here. Tourists who come here want to relax and sleep, not be woken up by birds in cages calling at 5 in the morning. Why would you put the cages next to the guest rooms??

Review: Very friendly landlord. The room i had was pretty bad except the nice floor in the room. The bathroom had a bad floor and not so clean so don't forget the flip-flops. the bed is not comfy, the pillows were soooo smelly(worst part), there's no sound isolation(comparable with a tent) and you can hear everything eg. some lady's loud conversation till 3.30AM in the morning then the the birds(birds were nice to hear). From room the lake was not visible and from upstairs just a little bit. price / quality for Bali is very poor you can find much better.

Review: It is very beautiful and quiet place . Comfortable climate , not hot . Good walks among farmland and by the lake . Bungalows big and comfortable plus porch with table and chairs . Every day cleaning .On the weak side of this hotel is meager breakfast but skillfully decorated .

Review: senang sekali menginap di sini, kami datang jam 12 malam, dalam kondisi lapar. staffnya ramah sekali, membuatkan makanan untuk kami.. dan ada laundry kiloan, murmer, sehingga kami tak perlu capek mencuci.. viewnya bagus banget, semuanya menyenangkan.. 😊 recommended place..

Review: located in a residential area, in the suburbs, provides a very chill atmosphere. Where you can feel like in a camp, no roads to disturb you, no shops,,,,a place to relax yourself and where you can drive everywhere.
So its very convenient for 1 day tours.
The food is ok, with fair prices. Not extense but enough for a last minute dinner plan.

The lady responsible of the business is very nice, always with a smile and very helpful.
