Positive points: Unique experience, it's not just accommodation. It's the whole lifestyle of the village you experience there. Everything is authentic and local. Unfortunately we could stay just one night, but I could happily stay there longer.
Negative points: Everything was perfect
Review: Thanks gia đình for your warm welcome, the ethnic minority family is super friendly and welcoming. The owner Bikki speaks exceptional English, it's easy to communicate. A very authentic experience, traditional cooking, food, house..We did the trek to Tây Côn Lĩnh peak, it was well-organised. Bring warm clothes in winter, it gets cold.
Positive points:
Bikki has a Lot of knowlege to share and can explain in good english the medicinal and edible plants, how to process them, explain Traditions, teach about her culture. With Humor and kindness she showed us beautyful waterfalls and magic places, and she and her Family prepare amazing meals that are fresh organic from their own gardens and animals and the jungle.
We sleep good with the Sound of the River and listen to singing birds in the morning.
Great thanks for everyday we could spend Here!
Positive points: Authentic homestay with the family, beautiful views and friendly local people
Negative points: Hard to find (road not on the map) but the host will for sure help you
Positive points: There are no private rooms here but only curtained compartments in a giant room turned dorm. However, the setup is very cosy and one hardly feels the presence of other guests. Each bed comes with a window opening up to the river and mountain outside. It’s perfect :)
Positive points: One of the best experiences we've ever had while traveling! We're still trying to find the right words to describe our time with Bikki and her family. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed into a truly authentic culture, surrounded by love and kindness. Every single moment was precious and important, and we met some incredible people who we hope will remain in our lives forever. This experience was both meaningful (deeply discovering a rare nature-based community), breathtaking (trekking through the jungle), and surprising (visiting a tea master). If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure, take a ride and head to Bikki's homestay—you won't regret it!
Positive points:
Bikki Jungle Homestay is a hidden paradise that offers the perfect blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and heartfelt hospitality. Nestled in Vietnam’s lush jungles, it’s a serene escape where you can wake up to birdsong and stunning views of rolling hills.
The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming, treating guests like family while sharing the rich traditions of the Red Dao people. From delicious, fresh meals to meaningful cultural experiences, every moment felt authentic and special.
This isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an unforgettable journey into nature and culture. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, inspiration, and a true connection to Vietnam’s heritage!
Positive points:
Everything! Bikki is a very kind and friendly host, she definitely enjoys welcoming people and showing them her traditions and she knows a lot of things! The food is delicious, the best we had in Vietnam (her mum is an amazing chef). Tea house visit is super recommended.
N.B. This is not a hotel but an incredible experience with Bikki in the middle of the jungle.
Negative points: Nothing to mention. We loved every single moment (even the road up there...and we took the wrong one 😂)
Positive points: Bikki’s an extraordinary person, and her homestay is extraordinary too. We had great food with the family, the nicest trek in the jungle discovering all kinds of plants, but most important of all, we had so much fun and felt like at home. This was a one-of-a-kind experience, that I think we will never forget it.
Positive points:
A beautiful location surrounded by the mountains and waterfalls. Wake-up to the sound of water trickling down streams and chickens clucking away. Bick is the most exceptional host who will welcome you into her family, ensuring you feel comfortable and enjoy your time.
Staying at Bikki Jungle Homestay will allow a window into the lives of the Red Dzao Tribe of the Northern mountains of Vietnam.
Bick and her family welcomed us with hospitality and kindness, showing us their unique way of life including cooking, tasting valuable teas, and swimming in waterfalls. We trekked through the jungle, ate delicious food, and learned some phrases in the specific dialect of Vietnamese.
Thank you Bick for being the wonderful person you are, and ensuring all your guests have a great time! ☺️
*important note on directions* - if arriving at Bikki Jungle Homestay by yourself, make sure you turn LEFT at the sign that says “welcome to Lung Tao Village” (pictured). Google maps will tell you to take the right path over the bridge, but this is incorrect. Take the left path and follow the road until you arrive at Bick’s home!
Positive points: Soooo great! We had a lovely time and learned so much about Vietnamese culture. We learned to pick fresh Vietnamese herbs, tried traditional tea and went swimming in the waterfall close by❤️ So lovely! Biki was truely a great host and her entire family is so friendly🙏🏻 Such a calm and relaxing place with so much cultural value!
