Batu Jaran Hill Cottage Uluwatu

Positive points: Staff are super friendly and are always available for a quick room clean when needed. Lots of construction around like the whole of Uluwatu but found Batu jaran to be quiet especially at night.

Positive points: Such a peaceful place, tucked away, and the pool was wonderful. The bathroom could do with some work, but I believe renovations will be happening soon. The room itself is spacious and bright, with a wardrobe for clothes, a couch and a desk with drawers. Breakfast was lovely and it was nice to have a choice each day.

Positive points: We loved everything, the place is amazing, clean, and calm, near the beach and restaurants.

Positive points: I enjoyed the location. It’s close to the main strip. But it is tucked away in a side street. It’s very quiet there. Very well taken care of property. The staff were exceptionally kind and prompt. I appreciated and enjoyed the morning breakfast. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe. I would highly recommend for a great value, peaceful stay. It’s down the street from multiple tasty restaurants, coffee bars, and a nail salon. Also a small store/petrol station. The infinity pool is nice and there’s pool chairs to sit at. A nice front porch to sit on and a place to hang clothes. The water was hot. They provided amenities like a dental kit, a hair comb, soap, shampoo, and house slippers that I ended up using the whole time. In all, would definitely stay again. I rented a scooter from them daily and they charged a fair price.

Review: Checked and settled in. Only to to be told at night being disturbed during shower that must move rooms because was given wrong room. Staff were rude with terrible communication or assistance. They were pushy and adamant, so packed up and ready to move, only to find out they never asked the guests in the other room to pack and move yet! Long story short after a lot of back and forth, guests from both rooms discussed and were happy not to change rooms. The staff created more stress and problems then solving the actual issue in the first place. Just poor service and attitude overall and easily justifies not booking here again 🙏🏻

Positive points: Nice facilities with a beautiful pool and friendly staff. Good hotel breakfast provided free of charge. Close to Padang Padang and other busy areas. Will come back!!
