Positive points: It looks just as beautiful in real life as it does in the pictures (which you can't always say about other adverts on booking). The homestay is in the middle of the nature but not too far from the city center. Above all, the staff are very friendly and happy to help with bus bookings, for example. Many thanks to Piun and Thuong! The food tastes also excellent.

Piun, the manager is very helpful and polite. We also did the Ha Giang Loop, that he arranged and it was an amazing trip with bikes really worth trying.

Review: Staying at Local Ban Bang homestay brings a sense of peace and relaxation that feels almost like home for those who want to slow down on their journey through Ha Giang, or even for those who want to find a “temporary retreat” for their souls for a few days after the hustle and bustle of work and life. I have returned here for the second time and will continue to come back.

Positive points: We were a group of friends staying at Local Ban Bang Homestay for two nights and we really felt at home!! Piun (the manger of the place) and all the staff were really friendly and warm. They suggested the Ha Giang Loop tour with the agency they cooperate and we really loved that as well! The homestay is a bit outside of Ha Giang, in the nature. The breakfast was also amazing! We totally recommend it!!

Positive points: Definitely the best experience in Vietnam and maybe even in southeast Asia. There are simply places where time flows differently and this is one of them. Ban Bang Homestay is beautifully situated, surrounded by rice and corn fields. Rooms are very clean and spacious with comfortable beds - perfect for relaxing after long days on motorcycles. Food and drinks are perfect. You can't forget about wonderful and fantastically illuminated relaxation area and swimming pool. However, the heart of this place is the people who run it. Piun and his team were excellent - they helped us with every aspect of our Ha Giang loop trip - from directions to the site, food and lodging, to bike and gear rentals, as well as even helping us book our return bus. We will really miss you and also your wonderfull pets :)

Positive points: We stayed here 2 nights and from the moment we arrived we felt welcomed! The staff are so friendly and happy to help wherever possible. As an example, we wanted to rent a bike for the Ha Giang Loop and was given one we could test drive a practice on around the courtyard before heading off on our adventure. The bike was perfect for what we needed and got use around the loop over 3 days with no issues.

The food was fantastic, the pool was great and the rooms were really nice and clean. They even had a little gym set with a bench and pull up bar along with a pool table.

I would massively recommend a stay here if you're heading up towards Ha Giang. You won't regret it!

The rooms are beautiful and in excellent condition.
The staff and especially the manager is super friendly and very helpful.
Additionally, you can store your luggage for free during the loop and rent motorcycles through the accommodation.
We would definitely recommend this place and come back at any time!
