Positive points: Location is great. It’s on a quiet street facing the lake so it’s a lot more peaceful than in Old Quarter. Only a 2km walk when you want to visit Old Quarter. The bed was very comfortable. The complimentary cafe drink is a lovely touch. The staff were excellent. Celina is very friendly and helpful. And she has lots of recommendations for local food, all categorized by which dish to try (pho, bun cha, bun rieu, egg coffee etc). All around a great place to stay in Hanoi.

Positive points: Only stayed one night, but it was such a nice stay. It was a perfect place to stay multiple days since it was spacious, clean, and had a small kitchen. I would highly recommend staying here to be able to see another side of the city that is calmer and beautiful.

Not all rooms have a lake view, and the entrance is quite narrow, so it’s easy to miss at first. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are spotless.nnWhat truly made our stay exceptional, however, were the staff. Every interaction we had was positive – they were genuinely kind, attentive, and helpful without ever being intrusive. From the night porter who kindly took care of our scooter, to the receptionist who shared so many great tips about the city, to the barista who started our mornings with delicious coffee (complete with adorable doodles on the cup) – everyone went above and beyond.nnAll in all, a lovely experience. Positive points: Our stay here was truly exceptional. The building is new and very clean, the location couldn’t be better if you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of the lake. However, the staff is what really makes this place special. We were traveling in Vietnam for a month and the staff at An Nguyen was truly the highlight of our trip. They were so warm and friendly, they made us feel like family. They helped us learn a few Vietnamese phrases and gave us great suggestions for places to eat and hang out. They care a lot about their guests and it shows. Celina, the front office manager, is so sweet and professional. Ariel, the receptionist, drew beautiful illustrations on our coffee cups to, in her words, “make us smile.” Son and Ziang make delicious coffee drinks in the mornings. If you want to feel like Hanoi is your home away from home, you must book your stay at An Nguyen Lakeside Residence.

Review: We absolutely loved our stay here—the stunning view, peaceful and not overcrowded vibe, and the incredibly warm and friendly staff, especially Selina and Alice, made it feel so special. It’s close to lots of cute cafés, and every morning they offer a free drink for guests. When I mentioned how much I love dogs, they even made a coffee with a dog face on it—such a thoughtful and heartwarming surprise!

Review: Had a great 5 night stay here! The rooms are spacious, clean, and so new that the TV still had the plastic film on it which I enjoyed peeling off. nThe complimentary coffee each morning is really good (I recommend the salty coffee), and the view of the lake is quite nice. Staff are also really friendly and eager to help, and I liked the location as it’s less busy/touristy than the old quarter but has some great bars and coffee shops around.

Positive points: Our stay here was wonderful, so much so that when we came back to Hanoi after our Ha Long Bay trip, we decided to stay again.nnThe neighborhood is great for those who want to be out of the more tourist packed Old Quarter but still close enough to be able to get to all the main attractions in about 10 min car ride ($2-3 by Grab). A lot of cute cafes and eateries in the neighborhood as well.nnThis is a new building with modern amenities. Facilities were clean and also equipped with on site laundry machines and dryers. We felt very safe here. The main doors are locked with keycard access for guests. nnThe entire staff speaks English fluently and were very welcoming and nice! They are very communicative and answered all our questions before we arrived. Our concierge, Celina, was particularly helpful. We wanted to see the water puppet show at Thang Long. Tickets are difficult to obtain online, so she called and helped reserve tickets for pick-up. They have an in house barista who makes coffee for guests (one complimentary a day!). My partner has very specific preferences when it comes to his coffee the staff remembered this for the following day on their own. It felt very personal. nnWe would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Hanoi!

Review: Mình nghỉ ngày đêm thấy phòng sạch sẽ, địa điểm thuận lợi cho đi chơi, nhiều điểm ăn uống, view hồ đẹp. Nếu có dịp mình sẽ quay lại.

Review: Phòng Deluxe Balcony có view rất đẹp để ngắm khung cảnh yên bình của hồ Trúc Bạch, rất đáng tiền. Với mô hình apartment có phục vụ: Tiện nghi của phòng ở mức ổn. Nhân viên thân thiện.

Review: Nhân viên rất chú ý, tòa nhà rất sạch sẽ và được chăm sóc cẩn thận, tôi sẽ ở lại lần nữa.
