Positive points: Wow. If you came all the way to Bali and only stayed here, it would be worth your trip. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The restaurant was amazing. The location was perfect. The room was so grand. The staff were incredible. My massage was wonderful. nnI cannot be more grateful for this stay.

Positive points: Lovely oasis beside the river. Tranquil and peaceful. We practiced yoga and hired a driver to take us around the area and visit the sights including snorkelling at Amed. The staff were friendly and helpful and the coffee on the verandah of your room in the early morning was greatly appreciated 😀

Positive points: I never wanted to leave! We stayed in the riverside Villa which was so lovely. So clean and had doors that opened to the outside so you could enjoy nature from the comforts of the comfy bed or couch. The bathroom is the only space you can’t completely enclose and bugs/critters were no issue to us besides a couple harmless lizards in the kitchen. The staff was absolutely incredible, the restaurant provided solid food options, the spa was nice and convenient. They provide cultural classes which I loved doing the offering class! The grounds are so serene and beautiful. location was super convenient to anything we wanted to do in the area. The rice field trekking right down the road was a highlight of the trip. Staff helped with scooter rental and car services whenever needed. Really, everything was perfect. I loved it so much.

Review: We love everything about Darmada Eco Resort! Most importantly, more trees/green than buildings is a great proportion and perfect for rural location like Sidemen. From the moment we arrived, the staff Sri greeted us with kindness. She talks passionately about her hometown Sidemen and showing us around the eco resort. The cabins are mixed of colonial style and tropical Balinese, with eclectic & modern design. Our room (facing the river) bed, bathroom, shower, terrace are in great condition and are very clean. They have refill water station at the restaurant. Small but enough pool to chill. In the morning, we walk along the river side and take a refreshing dip. The food at the restaurant is nice & comforting. Breakfast include coffee/tea, choice of fruit platter/juice, and bread. But, really, the most astounding is the greenery surrounding the place, from vanilla tree to water hyacinth to coconut and palm trees. Serene, tranquil, unpretentious, and putting nature first.

Positive points: Beautiful setting, amazing staff, comfortable and spacious room. We loved the river, and creek running off the back patio. Food at the restaurant was great, we enjoyed massages and solo practice at the yoga shala. The staff was so friendly and helpful with our baby. We hope to be back some day!

Review: Location is walking distance to Sidemen trekking route. We stayed at Colonial Room with another family. Room is nicely designed with handout place in front and at the back. Staff are friendly. Will recommend for other family travelers

Review: I stayed in the River Villa and it was AMAZING! Super cute cottage. I loved the sound of the river and it helped me to sleep so good. The staff was so kind! Ketut always checked on me and made sure I was ok. The massage on site was wonderful and the whole compound was just so beautiful and relaxing.

Review: Property was good, clean and very good concept. However lot of flies, bugs and lizards get inside the room due to lot of open space inside the room and washroom. Bath space is open but visible to outsiders which compromises the privacy. Spa was good but therapist needs to be booked beforehand. Property is bit far from town. Menu is very small especially for vegetarians.

Review: Otherworldly. This resort is set on the banks of a stony river which creates an audible backdrop unlike any other place we visited in Bali. If serenity, connection with nature and tranquility is what you’re after, don’t look any further than this place. Will most likely become a yearly pilgrimage for me.
